Translation rules

Hello, while we appreciate people adding translations to TCRF, we have rules about how translations are supposed to be done, which include minimal levels of fluency. Your translations that you posted to Tetris Attack (SNES) not only seemed to be poorly translated, but the OCRed version of the Japanese was incorrect. Using OCR tools and not being able to verify their results indicates that people do not have the minimum levels of fluency to contribute translations.

Additionally, I fixed both of these errors, but you reverted them. Please be more careful about reverting edits which people clearly indicate are fixing errors. The fixed translations have been restored. If you disagree with them, or have evidence that another translation may be more accurate, please start a discussion on the talk page.

Again, while we welcome contributions to the wiki, TCRF prides itself on having high standards. You are always free to post a translation or an OCR of Japanese text on a talk page with a note that you aren't sure about it, but please do not add these to the main wiki space unless you are able to personally verify these yourself. Thank you.

Changing Jokes

Please don't change descriptions just to remove humo(u)r. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 15:57, 14 March 2017 (EDT)

There was nothing funny about that --Tailikku (talk) 18:09, 14 March 2017 (EDT)
The original is funnier than your edit, which is merely stating fact. Leave it alone. --BMF54123 (talk) 18:11, 14 March 2017 (EDT)

Multi-platform Releases

Pages for multi-plat releases are only marked for the platforms people have done research on. We do not add platforms to the bob simply because the game was released on any given platform. --Ehm (talk) 22:15, 21 January 2020 (EST)
