My archive for messages from 2017 onward. This probably won't be edited too often, for obvious reasons. -WarioBarker (talk) 07:27, 9 June 2020 (UTC)

MSX Metal Gear document translations

How exactly do you want the MSX Metal Gear development documents to be translated? Do you want a line-by-line translation or just a general summary? Most of the handwriting is pretty legible, but there are parts that are pretty hard to decipher. Jonny2x4 (talk) 03:47, 21 July 2017 (EDT)

Ellipses

What do you have against ellipses, dude? What did they ever do to you?
Did… did they make fun of you, when you were growing up? You can tell me.

It's more that you typed this sort of ellipses rather than three dots, which is something that's done with programs like Microsoft Word automatically. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 04:16, 17 March 2018 (EDT)
I don't see the problem. Is there one? Or, is it just a matter of personal preference? Because, my preference is for one-character ellipses. That, and en dashes (as opposed to double-hyphens). Call it a side-effect of being a (hobbyist) writer, for four years.
On that note, y'all should just be glad I scale back my use of commas, when writing article content. ;P

Deletion Of ProtoːHalf-Life 2ː Lost coast

I recently saw that you had put ProtoːHalf-Life 2ː Lost coast up for deletion stating as a reason "Mistake because there's no leaked build but just some source assets." To which I have to mention this video by bitrain showing of several leaked .VMF Files that he later released (as .BSP files) here. Just to let you know. --explodingmoons (talk) 15:57, 26 November 2018 (EST)

I didn't put it up for deletion - I moved it to the page creator (Juest)'s namespace because it had a todo and no actual content. Looking at the page I'd moved it from, Juest was the one who added the Delete template, so I'd suggest telling him about the VMF/BSP files. -WarioBarker (talk) 21:06, 26 November 2018 (EST)

English twiddling for SCS

Thanks a lot. Though I am not sure about quest names — I tried to copy the original writing here. I am not actually familiar with TCRF's standards a lot, so I've got no idea if quoting should be done or if mistakes should never be left as is. Also, what's wrong with em dashes and is changing them to minuses actually correct? SurDno (talk) 20:58, 12 August 2019 (EDT)
