Storyboards

Hmmm...
To do:
Quite a few of the storyboards have Japanese writing present. Translate the writing.

A fair few very early storyboards are present on the disc, apparently as placeholders for early-game visions that went unused and, consequently, were never finished. They don't reveal any huge changes, but that doesn't make them any less interesting as a window on the game's development.

Rough draft of Shulk at Prison Island

The first of the storyboard sequences depicts Zanza powering up the Monado at Prison Island, and Shulk subsequently attacking Metal Face. The number on the storyboards indicates they are rough drafts of the vision Shulk has after the fight outside the Ether Mines.

Zanza powers up the Monado at Prison Island

The longest and most polished of the sequences depicts Zanza powering up the Monado at Prison Island.

This scene hasn't changed much from the storyboarding stage; even the direction is the same!

Homs Fiora cutscene

This seems to depict a cutscene involving Homs Fiora.

Fiora's Death cutscene

Two screenshots from the cutscene of Metal Face killing Fiora, which oddly depict Colony 9 in the daytime.

Bionis fighting Mechonis

Four screenshots depicting the battle between the Bionis and the Mechonis. For whatever reason, the first three are heavily saturated compared to the final cutscene.
