Cheat Menu

Start the game and press Start to pause it. Then enter the following code: Up (×8), Down (×4), Left (×2), A, B, Right (×8), Left (×4), Up (×2), B, A. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Press Start again, and the game will return to the title screen, where an extra "CHEAT" menu item should now be visible. You can use the menu to start on any of the game's levels, or set the number of lives and continues (up to 99).

The NES version contains the same menu, accessed using the same code.
