Banjo-Tooie is the direct sequel to the popular game Banjo-Kazooie. Here, Gruntilda uses Weapons of Mass Destruction to destroy Iraq the Isle o' Hags and Banjo must stop her again.

Bottles Revenge

Bottles Revenge is a game mode which was removed from the final game, but can be re-enabled with a Gameshark code.

In this game mode, the intro starts out normal at first but at the point where Bottles' soul emerges, he turns into a devil. Player 2 can now use Devil Bottles to take control of the baddies to attempt to hinder Banjo's progress. However, Devil Bottles will not be available in boss battles, and will disappear when you enter a boss room.

This game mode is quite functional, and was taken out due to time constraints. It was originally planned for you to be able to control the bosses, but when they couldn't implement that in time they scrapped the idea. [Citation Needed]

Unused Sounds

This game has a few unused sounds that are leftovers from Banjo-Kazooie.

The sound for collecting an extra life. Rare did away with extra lives for this game, so this sound went unused.

This fanfare played when you opened a note door. There are no note doors in Banjo-Tooie.
