Atari's popular series of 8-bit microcomputers. The 400 was the first model, released in 1979, and was somewhat counter-intuitively released alongside the 800, which had a nicer keyboard and no other differences (although it would later be shipped with more RAM). The computer range was fairly successful, but it's not especially well-known for its range of games compared to its contemporaries.

This category collectively covers the Atari 400, 800, XL (aka 1200XL), XE, and XEGS.
