A series that started with an Adobe Flash MMO involving penguins doing non-penguin stuff. Since being bought by Disney, The House of Mouse has made several other games based on it. In 2017, Disney shut down the original Flash game and replaced it with the iOS and Android (and later on PC) game Club Penguin Island, angering the old fans while mostly failing to impress everyone else. In 2018, Disney announced the closure of Club Penguin Island, effectively ending the Club Penguin franchise. Waddle on.
