Acclaim Entertainment never really developed games, but made it up by publishing boatloads of games on various consoles, with varying degrees of quality. The company owned several studios and labels, most (in)famously LJN.

Went defunct in 2004, with their namesake going to Acclaim Games (which itself went defunct in 2010).
