This is a sub-page of Format:SDAT.
An STRM file is a Nintendo DS streamed audio file. It is similar to a SWAV, but includes stereo formatting. They are loaded by a player.
Load Method
No code exists as it has a file header, then audio data compressed in an ADPCM, PCM16 or PCM8, and loads into a Stream Player.
Exporting STRM Files
An easy way to export STRM files (as long as they are not corrupt) is to use NitroStudio. You can also listen to them using the vgmstream plugin for Winamp, Foobar2000, or any other software that supports Winamp plugins.
