Geometry Dash is game that started as a ripoff of The Impossible Game, but ends up being better than it.

Unused Graphics

Worlds

I'm just fine. I'm all sideways.

Graphics from the worlds in Geometry Dash World exists in the game. The HD version is sideways.

Song-related

Beats. Auto Checkpoints. I respect my music's privacy. The things always place themselves in the worst places anyway.

Two versions of unused icons, with both each having the "No" symbol over it. The second and fourth are known to be from an earlier build, and the tutorial shows auto checkpoints with this button. Perhaps the first and third might be related to the pulsing objects?

These are stored with the button to toggle music lines, which is in the game's level editor pause menu.

Unused Scratch Face

HEY! Only the masters can edit this caption! I mean, what caption?

Unused angry face for Scratch. In the final 2.1, Scratch doesn't get angry.

It's Design got reused in 2.11 for Potbor being angry.

Unused Blocks

There are some unused blocks in the game. To find them, search "Hidden Blocks".

Placeholders and Tests

The first one uses the start position's graphic, but it's solid.

The second one is an unused fade effect. It's fairly glitchy (i.e the text shakes too much), suggesting this is just a fade test.

After 2.0

One of the block sets was lined before 2.0. These can still be found by copying old levels.

After 2.1

The spread color triggers still exist. As with the unused lined block set, these can be seen by copying old pre-2.1 levels.

Hidden Songs

There are hidden songs in the games level editor. The first 21 slots are playable in the game, but there are actually 37 slots.

Easter Eggs

Geometry Dash has a lot of Easter Eggs too!

Community Shop is really the Community...

References to the famous users ViPriN, Michigun, And Etzer are included in the Community Shop.

To see them, Click the "C" (Community) Sign and click the Credits button. Now scroll to the end of the page, And it will have a heavy reference to how ViPriN Copy + Pastes a lot, Etzer uses his singnature emote: 8), And the most classic meme of all: Michi's Triple Spikes. Oh, Baby!

Monitor Icon

Rememeber the old Monitor icon when you Rated Geometry Dash? Well, Its gone...

...Unless you click its slot. Or you have it. If you dont have it, Scratch will give you the icon and go.

Revisional Changes

In 2.0

Before 2.0 After 2.0
The line blocks had solid lines. The solid lines were removed.

The solids still exist but are unused.

No level had its own special coins. Secret Coins, however, were usable by hacking. All secret coins from hacked levels are now deleted. User coins were added, as online level coins. Some players still tried to hack for secret coins, but the coins were removed from normal player use. In addition, a glitch that pushed away an icon if it was affected by many speed portals in duel mode was fixed, however, that in turn made some levels impossible. Oops.

In 2.1

Before 2.1 After 2.1
The standard block slope was unused. It is no longer unused, Now at the Slope Tab.

The color triggers were all in spread triggers. Now, every color got its own fused trigger: Color Trigger. As stated above, the old spread ones still exist, but unused. Levels didn't have special Demon types. The levels that had a Demon rating changed to either Easy, Medium, Hard, Insane, or Extreme Demon. This is to let players know how hard the Demon is. The Hard Demon graphic reuses the old Demon graphic.

Windows Version

The Windows version of Geometry Dash has sprites for a "watch replay" button. Note that this is used in Geometry Dash for iOS for the Everyplay functionality, where you can view and share level replays.

Heh, should've used a screen recorder, loser.
