Harry Potter... the boy who lived. Based on the film adaptation of the book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone introduced things such as the concept of using beans as currency, some spells not mentioned in the film or the book, and those horrid little gnomes.

Debug Mode

HarryPotterSSDebugMenuPC.png

During gameplay, type harrydebugmodeon and press Enter to activate debug mode. If done correctly, the main menu will have the word "Debug" in the top left corner and three new options will appear: Level Select, Language and Credits.

  • Level Select - Takes you to a menu where you can select a level to start at.
  • Language - Takes you to a (somewhat unorganized) listing of all the recorded dialogue in the game.
  • Credits - Plays the credits.

While in debug mode, cheat codes can be enabled during gameplay by pressing the tilde (~) key and entering set engine.playerpawn bcheatsenabled true in the command box. Cheat codes can now be entered in this command box or by pressing tab and entering the code during gameplay. Some codes include ghost, fly, walk, harrysuperjump, and harrygetsfullhealth. To exit debug mode, press F7.

Unused Areas

Hmmm...
To do:
Add some actual content to this section. There are tons of YouTube videos showing where to find unused places in this game.

By using the ghost cheat, it is possible to travel outside the map and enter rooms that are unused or normally inaccessible such as the rooms only shown in cutscenes.

Unused Dialogue

Hmmm...
To do:
There's still a lot more to go through and verify. Also, find a way to extract all the sound files.

Within the Language menu, it is possible to find many pieces of recorded dialogue that are left unused in the game along with the accompanying subtitles or text.

Harry Potter

These are mostly recordings of Harry reading the names of some people on the wizard cards. Harry never reads the cards aloud at any point, so these go unused.

Forbidden Forest

Apparently, Harry was at one point supposed to be sent to the Forbidden Forest after getting to the tower, but that never happens in the game. There remains some story narration for this scene. Note that some clips have duplicate files.
