Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon/Regional Differences
This is a sub-page of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
| This article is a work in progress. ...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes. Notes: I deleted the giant table of unsorted text differences, and am adding that info back piece by piece as I categorize it, summarize it, explain it, etc. In the meantime, some stuff will be missing; for the full list of differences, see the earliest revision of this page. |

Text Differences
There are a lot of textual differences between the North American and European English text.
ScareScraper
There are a few widespread differences that affect lots of text:
- The ScareScraper is called Thrill Tower (or, occasionally, simply Tower) in the European version.
- The North American version uses title case in many places that the European version uses sentence case; for example, Most Ghosts Captured in the North American version is Most ghosts captured in the European version.
- The North American version calls the floors either F1, F2, F3, and so on (or, sometimes, simply 1, 2, 3, etc.), whereas the European version calls them GF (ground floor), 1F, 2F, etc.
- The messages that Luigi can shout (Hey!, Help!, Thank you!, etc.) are enclosed in quotes in the North American version but not in the European version.
- A boss ghost in North America is simply a boss in Europe. Same with exit hatch and hatch.
Lines displaying only these differences have been removed from the tables below.
General
HP in the North American version is stamina in the European version. Additional differences:
