Luigi's Mansion is one of the first launch titles to the Gamecube when it was out. After foolishly falling for winning a Mansion from a contest he never entered. Now he has to go find and pull Mario out of his mess while being scared the crap out of by ghosts whom owned the mansion. and his only line of defense is a vacuum cleaner.

Unused Maps

Hmmm...
To do:
Add the test map (Map0) to the list

In the disc's "Iwamoto" folder, there are four unused maps in the directory. The first two, Map0 and Map5 can easily be loaded using Action Replay. However, the last two maps, Map7 and Map8 will not load at all and crash the game. They can however be accessed by swapping files in the disc with Map5's, and then using the room modifier to access that map. There are also object map files that correspond with each map.

Leftover Beta Gallery (Map5)

Beta Gallery

Accessible by Action Replay code AVBN-5Y5T-JFACD UE63-D6EX-YPA7J. This map has no light at all. One of the main things different with this map right away is the Unicorn Statues, which look almost exactly the same as the ones where you fight Boolossus. However the horn is smaller than those statues in the final. Also the room where King Boo's picture is held is much more dull and bland than compared to the final.

Leftover Beta Gallery #2 (Map7)

Longer Beta Gallery

This looks relatively similar to the Beta Gallery, except for one major difference, It is much longer than that gallery is. This could have meant that at one time they may have had more portrait ghost planned, which would have made the game longer. The doors however seem to be in the same position as the previous map, Despite having its own file for objects.

Even Earlier Gallery (Map8)

Unused Early Gallery

This is the earliest version of the Gallery leftover on the disc, Even earlier looking than The Beta Gallery accessible via action replay, or "Map7". The textures are massively different. This gallery is a slight bit longer than Map7's gallery and no statues are present in the room, unlike the Boolossus unicorn statues that are in the two previous leftover gallery maps. Surprisingly Egadd appears in this map, but you can't talk to him as he does nothing. And the doors are in the same position as the last two maps.
