Mario & Luigi: Dream Team is the fourth installment in the Mario & Luigi RPG series. In this game, Mario and company are invited to Pi'illo Island by Dr. Snoozemore, the island's leader and resident sleep scientist/Pi'illo historian. The focus of this game is using Luigi's dreams to access the dream world and saving the trapped Pi'illos from the Dark Stone's nightmare chunks and stopping the bat king Antasma and (of course) Bowser from using the Dream Stone to take over the world (and kidnapping the princess).

Revisional Differences

A downloadable update was made available on September 3rd, updating the game to Version 1.1, similar to Mario Kart 7's downloadable update.

Along with adding a "Version 1.1" graphic to the top right of the title screen, this update fixed two major bugs:

• One of the areas involving collaborating with the Massif Bros. using Spin Jump to destroy ice chunks blocking the path has a major oversight in the original release. If the player takes certain actions, they will be unable to exit the area, leaving them trapped.

• In certain instances, the final battle with Antasma could not be finished in the original release.
