This page is for things that are technically "in use" within tracks in the game, but are very strange nonetheless

Hmmm...
To do:
Get better images of everything. Maybe even In-Game?

Unobtainable Item Boxes on DK Summit

DKSCunuseditems.png

There are 3 item boxes in DK Summit located under the map. They are a bit after the S curve, but on the bottom of the level (on the respawn plane). In the image to the left, they are highlighted in red.

A video can be seen here (go to 1:38, and watch out for the volume).

Big AREA on DK Summit

AREAs are invisible regions in Mario Kart Wii, when you are in them the game knows which camera to use for the replay cameras and other things. For some reason, there is one on DK Summit that is massive, way bigger than the track itself.

N64 Bowser's Castle Item Route

Mkw bc64 itemroute.png

On the first turn of N64 Bowser's Castle, for some reason there is an item route that leads through the grass, through the statue and back again to the main road.

N64 Mario Raceway's Item Routes

N64 Mario Raceway has... this mess of item routes in the grass for some reason.

Luigi Circuit's Item Routes

Mkwii lc itemroutes.png

For some reason, Luigi Circuit has a lot of item routes on the outside border of the track.

Some actually lead under the banners and behind the mushrooms, which are too small for the bullet bill to fit through.
