The Notes page is way too large. We really don't need detailed listings of the contents of every model file, unless there is something legitimately noteworthy or unused inside. We're not a data repository for hackers. --BMF54123 (talk) 17:17, 13 September 2013 (EDT)

There are (unused models not in the article). --Hiccup (talk) 06:04, 14 September 2013 (EDT)
We also don't need stuff like copies of forum threads discussing the format of level files. If it's from a forum post, just link to it instead of quoting the whole thing. --Peardian (talk) 12:44, 14 September 2013 (EDT)
And if it goes offline? --Hiccup (talk) 04:28, 15 September 2013 (EDT)
I'm sure you can find an archived version. --AquaBat (talk) 11:39, 15 September 2013 (EDT)
That's like saying you should delete the history of a page, because it might be on the wayback machine! --Hiccup (talk) 11:47, 15 September 2013 (EDT)
That's not the same thing at all. The forum threads are still around, aren't they? There's two extremes for every situation. If the things mentioned in the posts are worth keeping on this page anyway, even if trusting archives isn't the best thing to do, we can't just hoard all of the text just expecting that the forum threads will suddenly die either. The fact of the matter is that this page is way too big for no good reason. Like BMF said, we're not a data repository. --AquaBat (talk) 12:25, 15 September 2013 (EDT)
But it's about unused stuff! It could be deleted when the relevant bits of the article are finished--Hiccup (talk) 14:19, 15 September 2013 (EDT)
All this data will be recorded in the page's history. Just trim it down now, and if you realize any of the deleted stuff was really useful, you can restore it later. But right now, there's really no point to listing some of this stuff. --Peardian (talk) 17:44, 15 September 2013 (EDT)
