| To do: Dubious textures, unused weapons. There's more unused areas. |

Unused Models
A mouse form for Akechi, complete with animations. The only things capable of inflicting the Rattled status are the Mot enemies in Futaba's Palace and the Mementos Depths, as well as the statue puzzles in Shido's Palace. Akechi doesn't join the Thieves until long after Futaba's Palace is completed and leaves before Shido's Palace, rendering this unused.
Joker's Phantom Thief model with an amusing face overlayed.
A hablerie straight from Persona 4. More specifically, the type found in Yukiko's Castle. Likely here for testing purposes as it's the first model in the "items" folder (it0000_000). In addition, a giant plain lime green billboard texture can be found in the "items" folder with the filename it0000_007.
A gun with a giant pink kanji symbol saying "left" floating above it.
Unused Texture
An alternate texture for Goro Akechi's Phantom Thief outfit exists in the game but goes unused. This texture depicts him with darker colors than his regular metaverse outfit. This texture is smaller than the one used for his outfit in game (512x512 and 256x256 compared to 1024x1024 and 512x512), so it appears stretched out when applied to his model.
Unused Areas
Placeholder Room
Room filename: f000_100_0.GFS. A room with a texture reading ダミーフィールド (Dummy Field) repeatedly over the floor and walls. The cylindrical shape implies it was used as a test battlefield at some point.
Kamoshida's Palace
As seen in early gameplay footage, the dungeon area of Kamoshida's Palace was originally meant to be larger than what is seen in the final game, and originally contained the mouse puzzles which would eventually be moved to Shido's Palace.
Room filename: f052_053_0.GFS. A cylindrical room containing several cages suspended over a pit. A duplicate of this room with a smaller filesize can be found at f052_071_0.GFS.
Room filename: f052_090_0.GFS. A cut dungeon area featuring the mouse puzzle seen in early gameplay footage.
f052_043_0.GFS contains a room with several wooden platforms suspended over a pit.
Unused Arcana Entry
There is an entry in the Arcana name table for the Aeon Arcana. There is no Confidant who represents the Aeon Arcana in game, and no corresponding tarot card for this Arcana exists. The Aeon Arcana has traditionally appeared in the enhanced editions of games in the Persona series since Persona 3 FES, what it's doing here is a mystery.
Oddities
Loki's Arcana
Goro Akechi's alternate Persona, Loki, is classed under the Justice Arcana. There is no way of seeing this in-game as Akechi never gets the chance to use Loki during his brief time as a playable character.
Texture Oddities
Fan Art

A few pieces of official Persona 4/Golden artwork are used as a small nod to the previous game, however a fan's artwork is also thrown in the mix for some reason without their knowledge. The source fan artwork can be found here.
Akihabara Film Posters
| To do: Source Ocean's Eleven & add more textures that include posters/covers. |
A large number of film posters used in various parts of Akihabara are actually real movie posters and DVD covers squished down to a tiny resolution. These films originate from the US and Japan, and also include a fan made Star Wars film.
Regional Differences
Ryuji's shoes have the rising sun symbol removed in the Korean version, due to its association with Japanese imperialism.
In the Japanese version when Akechi uses his berserking powers on himself, he laughs maniacally. In the English dub he remains silent when he does this.
