Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team is the only entry in the Mystery Dungeon sub-series on the Game Boy Advance, with which a DS version was released as Blue Rescue Team. These were the first two releases of the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series.

Unused Makuhita Dojo room

Besides a debug room, there is another unused area accessible via the GameShark code:

After activating the code, just walk though any warp point in the overworld to get in it.
Despite the area label shown in the overworld menu (see screenshot), this room seems more like a house than a dojo: it has a bed, a fireplace and many flowerpots. The Japanese label "仮マップ" on the lower part of the map means "provisional map". Also, it is possible to walk on the table, but not the stairs present on the right.
There are two Pokémon NPCs in this room: a Noctowl and a Gulpin, respectively. When talked to, they will both give a red "Unregistered dialog script" line. If the room is accessed before saving Magnemite, these NPCs will be absent.
The background music is the same as the one used during the Makuhita Dojo training. Leaving the room (after disabling the GameShark code) will send the player to in front of the Makuhita Dojo entrance.
Debug Menu

There is a debug menu that can be accessed using the GameShark code:

You can then access it selecting the "Delete Save Data" option.
The first five options make the menu to disappear and the game to freeze, except for the music. The "Storage" option makes the game to freeze without the menu disappearing. The "h-open" option makes to return to the main menu.
Unused Graphics
Loaded in VRAM
Japanese Freehand Writing (Europe version)
Some freehand Japanese writing and cross marks are loaded in VRAM at 0x600750A, 0x6007D0A and 0x6008320 when displaying the European language selection screen. These are the first row characters of the Hiragana alphabet.
These graphics are loaded in VRAM while the game is running, but remain unused. These graphics are also found in Blue Rescue Team, minus the Japanese writing.
Hud Font
These Hud characters are loaded in VRAM at 0x6004F20 after entering a dungeon (the adjacent used characters were removed from the image manually).
Item Sprites
These three sprites are loaded in VRAM respectively at 0x6013780, 0x6013880 and 0x6013F80 after entering a dungeon, along with all the others item sprites. In the image above, these are represented using all the 13 item sprite palettes used by the game. The note sprite is used for various items in the sequels Explorers of Darkness & Time and Explorers of Sky.
"FOR HP" Indicator
This sprite is loaded in VRAM at 0x60142C0 after entering a dungeon. During the play is replaced by the hp damage/cure amount or the "MISS" notice. It was probably intended to indicate the placeholder during development.
Shadow on Water Animations
These animations are loaded in VRAM at 0x6014400 after entering a dungeon, along with all the other Pokémon shadows. There are 3 size of shadow in the game, but when standing on water, only the big ones are used, regardless the size of the respective shadow when on ground. Also, these seems to be early design if compared to the used ones (see image on the right).
Found Only in ROM
These graphics are present in the ROM and there aren't any known use of them by the game.

These HUD characters are found right after the ones loaded in VRAM. In the USA, Australian and European versions, all the Japanese characters have a different background color.
Story Progress Badges
These four sprites are found right after the others legendary Pokémon mini-portraits, which indicates the progress of the game story when loading the save.

There is also a track consisting of four consecutive sound effects, of which only the third is used: EFF_ORUGORU
Redundant Sound Effects
There are two sound tracks consisting of almost identical data, used when leveling up. These are internally labeled in the game code as LEVELUP and FANFARE.
There is also an unused exact duplicate of the sound used when receiving a mission reward. The used file is labeled internally as REWARD, while the unused copy is called NEWS.

- The logo in the Japanese version has a different style compared to the other versions;
- As in several other games, "Push Start" in the Japanese version is changed to "Press Start" in the English language versions;
- The subtitle in the European version has a different and smaller font than the US and Australian version;
- The logo is slightly redone in the European version to make the trademark sign more noticeable and make it easier to change it for the different languages available;
- The sky in the USA and Australian version is actually the same from Blue Rescue Team:
