This page details prerelease information and/or media for Beat Down: Fists of Vengeance (PlayStation 2).
Beat Down: Fists of Vengeance was announced in mid-2004. It was released in America in August 2005 and in Europe a month later.
E3 2005 Trailer
Dated May 19, 2005.
- There is no HUD during fights.
- The notoriety symbol (seen at 1:35) uses Raven's jacket. The final game uses a skull and crossbones.
- There are more select options on the bottom of the screen when equipping clothing.
- The money icon is in a different position.
- The camera angle when throwing the enemy off the walkway in the Train Station area (seen at 1:53) doesn't change.
- The clothing and hair text in shops is different.
- The Buy text is different.

Included on PlayStation 2 Magazine Issue 98 Demo Disc from June 2005. It has quite a lot of new differences and others that can be seen in previous videos.
- The name texts for the player, NPCs, and enemies are different.
- Dialogue text is different.
- The health bars for the player, NPCs, and enemies are a different color.
- The wanted meter uses a policeman's face and the word "caution" beside it. The final game uses a police badge instead.
- The Call screen is different.
- The interrogation meter is a different color.
- Some enemies have placeholder names.
- The clothing text in shops is different.
- The Buy text is different.
- The steal money subtitles are very different.
- The money acquired text is different.
- Raven has a different voice.
