A demo of SpongeBob SquarePants: Employee of the Month can be found on several other Nickelodeon games from the time, and can easily be found online. It predates the final game by a month. While there are little to no clear aesthetic differences, there's some earlier stuff lurking in the files.

The copyright screen is very primitive in the demo compared to the final.
Unused Text
The format for the game's dialogue is different in the demo. Instead of being an encrypted SB2 file, they're easily readable TXT files. comments.txt, the subtitles for SpongeBob's commentary, is where most of the unused text is.
Unreachable Tasks
I can't open that door from here.

I can't talk to him from here.
I can't talk to her from here.
All of these lines are useless because SpongeBob always walks to what you click on.
Videocassette Player
It looks like a videocassette player!
An unused line about a VCR. You can watch the game's videos in the View Movies menu, but there's no VCR.
