This page details one or more prototype versions of WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!.

Eight microgame trials are unlockable in Wario World, as well as a special trial "sampler" version on the Nintendo GameCube Preview Disc, all of which are downloadable to a Game Boy Advance. These trials seem to be based on an earlier build, as various differences are present.

A few areas were given additional shading, like the screen and bars at the top. The screen on the boombox also appears to be subtly bigger.

Transition

The transition was much more rough in the trials, with only four frames. The final gave it a more smooth eight frames, along with a dissolve effect on the nose.

"CM" Mode

After beating 20 minigames, the screen on the boombox will say "CM" and all of the available Introduction microgames will play, except the graphics and commands are changed because advertisement.

Music

Hmmm...
To do:
Rip the music.

Easily the most noticeable difference is the music, as it's in a completely different soundfont. The soundtrack is also fairly limited, as all the music tracks are from the introduction microgames.

Minor Differences

  • Wario in Crazy Cars isn't animated.
