Anti piracy?

There might be anti piracy measures in this game. I vaguely remember playing this game on Windows XP or so. At some point in the game, after a level where you have to collect two orbs at seaside (?), there would be a level that if I entered it a huge head would fill the screen and audio would mess up - maybe there was some voice line that repeated itself, I don't know. The huge head was likely one of those mecha pirates.

The game was legally purchased so I never understood why the head appeared and made the game unplayable beyond that level. Just throwing this out there.

A google image search for "pirate head rayman 2" may give some answers. If anyone wants to research this.

That's actually the game messing up and thinking that there's no CD in the drive. It's a glitch...I don't think it's really anti-piracy. It sure is annoying though. WhoIAm (talk) 10:22, 16 April 2015 (EDT)

HEY GAIZ

Hey guys, is this video relevant? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_hU19ivDXM DUM DUM DA DUM DUM. 09:59, 20 October 2015 (EDT)

No, judging by the description it'd belong on a page for the PS1 version of Rayman 2. -Einstein95 (talk) 10:02, 20 October 2015 (EDT)

And what about that 2D level, which was said to be from Rayman 2's earlier version when it was originally a 2D game? DUM DUM DA DUM DUM. 17:12, 21 October 2015 (EDT)

The 2D level from the PS1 version?

Should it be documented? It's kind of a prototype version of Rayman 2. --Mspeter97 (talk) 12:35, 20 October 2015 (EDT)
