You can match at least three tiles, use magic, train mounts by fighting them, and capture enemies to learn their spells. You never know how much imagination is put into a game.

A very small, early version of the tavern man is in the game's files. This might have been a place to see all the rumors available, as the image size matches the city sprites.

This odd ring is placed in three locations in the game's files. It seems the palette is incorrect. This is the only image located in Tex32, which is very weird.
