To do: With the ability to dump 3DS fcram, there will be plenty to find in this game. There may be more unused sounds; I'm currently analyzing my sound dump.

Super Mario 3D Land is like a high-speed collision between New Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Galaxy, named after Super Mario Land. It's most notable for being the first handheld-exclusive 3D Mario game. It also marks the return of the Super Leaf from Super Mario Bros. 3. However, instead of turning Mario into Raccoon Mario, it turns him into Tanooki Mario. Oh, and you can accumulate 1,110 lives.

Yoshi

300px The sound heard when Yoshi pops out of an egg in or is mounted in Super Mario World and subsequent games . Yoshi doesn't appear in this game at all, but he did appear in the previous 3D Mario game, which this game shares a game engine and various assets with. In pre-release trailers, this was one of the sounds heard when Mario jumped on a Note Block. The Note Block sounds were redone for the final game.
