Talk:The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords
Are these not used for the Chain Chomp enemy in Turtle Rock? -- Prince Kassad 14:21, 23 October 2010 (EDT)
- I haven't played this game so I can't verify it as fact, but several places I've looked at claim it's an item you can get in Vaati's Palace. --

- I've played multiplayer quite a bit with a friend, and I have not seen this item ever appear in the game. It's not even listed in the manual, unlike all the other items in the game. Also, this can't be the Chain Chomp enemy from LttP; this was in the same graphics area used exclusively by Four Swords. --

I can confirm that these graphics are used in Four Swords as an item. The chain chomp is called Bow Wow and works just like Bow Wow in LA. Bow Wow will also attack fellow players and cause them to drop rupees, I'll try to get some screenshots sometime if I can. --RankoChan 21:24, 10 November 2010 (EST)
Reading in Zeldawiki, I get this http://www.zeldawiki.org/Bow-wow so... read that only appear in the Vaati' Palace. And it Don't appear in the manual because only appear in the Vaati Palace (the only secret level) so the manual don't spoil it... Sorry I playing the game a lot of times and the item never apears (bad luck :( )so i can't get a screenshot. And sorry for my bad english. -- Luichox203
Yes, it turns out this isn't unused. I played the Anniversary Edition and thought it was pretty cool they snuck in the Chain Chomp that was thought to be unused, but Zelda Wiki claims that the text from the GBA version read "BowWow" rather than Chain Chomp. Sure enough, it IS in the GBA version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGKMNtMnsMA), just at one location in Vaati's Palace. You can also find another one, appropriately enough, in the Link's Awakening portion of the Realm of Memories. I wonder, though, what should become of this page since the only listed thing is technically not unused. LinkTheLefty 20:49, 19 February 2012 (EST)
