This cactus is UNDER CONSTRUCTION
This article is a work in progress.
...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.
SOMETIMES I SEE A TEXT BOX AND I JUST CAN'T HELP MYSSDFGFFDHFGDJGGFSHGDFH
This page sucks.
If you could make it suck less, that would be awesome.
Specifically: Needs a rewrite bad.
Careful, you'll lose an eye.
This page or section needs more images.
There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough pictures. Please fix this.

Tornado Outbreak is a game about... well, guess.

Hmmm...
To do:

Unused Dialogue
Nimbus got silenced. Yeah.

Concept Art

240px

A slideshow of the map Double Wide Damage is present in the files, although the map wasn't included in the game. Other unused images include a slide of Military Mayhem, bonus images of Windboy (a cut character), and two smashers: a stone smasher and a morbid demonic stone smasher.

The latter smasher was probably removed because it was scary for younger players.

Unused Cutscenes

A cutscene called "Bonus Chicken Con Carnage", featuring the fire flyers and Windboy. The cutscene can be seen here. The outro unused cutscene can be seen here here.t

Unused Textures

Windboy has textures remaining in the game's data, but the model is missing. There are some early models. An unused button layout, an unused sprite of Zephyr that was scrapped from the Wii version, but later added in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions.

File:Unused TO texture.jpeg

This texture was cut from the Wii version, but later added in the 360 and PS3 versions. There is a model for Zephyr, Nimbus and a wind warrior. However, Zephyr's tail appears to be different.

Unused Levels

By corrupting the game data or using the Dolphin emulator you can find an unused test level. The level itself is poorly done, and the sandbox is broken as well. In the test world, it appears it was an unused tutorial level but was scrapped. The level starts you off as a level 3 Tornado. As you destroy things, the audio will be corrupted and hard to understand. And the floor layout appears to be corrupted too.

Debug Mode

Debug mode/Dev mode is inaccessible, even when using a USB Gecko, as you will not able to use the Debug menu. In order to use this, the player must have the ISO on their computer to use this debug menu. Still, the mode is hidden; the only way to use this is removing script files from Wwise or the game's coding or using a program called Team Code Review.

When activated, you will be allowed to dump the game's textures, enable wireframe, change the camera view, show the FPS display, and use the inaccessible cheats that were scrapped.

Unused Cheats

Level 10 Tornado home and up to activate. (can use in Chicken Con Carnage turn on after level 2)
Level 10 Tornado (use after Chicken Con Carnage)
Level 20 Tornado (use after Chicken Con Carnage)
Infinite time.

These cheats were removed, possibly because the framerate would drop. These cheats can only be used via hacking or with Dolphin's built-in cheat system.

Unused Developer Message

This was cut, but can be seen in the German, Spanish, and French versions. It can be accessed by glitches in the Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360 versions.

"Hey, wow! You did it! Look at all the people you impressed and a humor note: no humans or animals were harmed in the making of this game except of the people in the game"

Unused Audio

The audio appears to be just numbers, but hey! It's something. At least. 732223451.wav: Eddie_test (early name for Zephyr) 227762310.wav: Chomp Chomp (an unused Corn) 992332211.wav: Captain_Nimbus_1 (And if you get lost you can use the _ button to turn the camera around.) 921337222.wav: Wind_Growl (retake of Tornado Grown from Zephyr)

Anti Cheating

Elementary, my dear Cactus.
This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.

Two levels have an anti-cheat code active. If the game detects that you're cheating, it will show a blue screen and hangs the game, forcing you to reset your console.
