MDK
A quirky third person shooter from Shiny.
| To do: The "iamaprogrammer" cheat allows the player to enter a few other cheats, but I most likely need to view it in DOSBox's Secondary Monitor. |
Regional Differences
As with several violent games, the violence has been somewhat toned down for the German version. The changes include:
- Green blood has been changed to blue, which is almost unnoticeable in regular view unless the player shoots several aliens. It is very visible during head-shots.
- The player cannot shoot off body parts of an enemy.
- Explosions are much less gruesome.
- From the statistics screen, the number of head-shots has been omitted.
- Suicide bomber enemies sound much less human.

Ratchet and Clank Debug Menu
Using a cheat program like Cheat Engine, the user can modify a 32-bit game mode value that sets the debug menu on/off. To find the value, check for a value normally set to 0, then changed to 2 for the cutscenes and changed to 3 for the pause menu. This value is set to FFFFFFFF.
This works for all versions of the game, though it appears more consistently in the demo versions. The font for the debug menu can be overwritten with miscellaneous data in the.

What information can I add?
Games
To avoid legal troubles, please wait at least thirty days after release for recently released games or soon-to-be-released games.
Carmageddon Proto
Gotta get some more stuff up here. Here's a list of demos I know... -March 1997 Rolling Demo -1997 Beta Demo:
- The easiest difficulty is named "As Easy As Killing Babies with Axes", but was changed to "As Easy As Killing Bunnies with Axes".
Anything else?
Concerning Fan and Amateur Games
- Hacks not done with with company's permission are not allowed.
- Hacks of games done without company permission, but sold in stores are unlicensed, particularly on consoles.
- Fan and amateur games will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
What constitutes a title screen?
Does it show the game's title?
Where in the game does the title appear?
Are there other instances a title is used?
Does it appear on an autorun menu?
Sound Test, Debug Modes and Other Cheats
Is the cheat not listed in the manual or given away by the game?
Is this cheat not a debug mode or sound test, yet it's undocumented anywhere else?
Is there no controller input recognized that allows one to get said cheat, but it's programmed in the game?
