Backlog

Unused Graphics

Genesis

  • NBA Jam Tournament Edition (The same unused player heads in the SNES version, in addition to John Newcomer, Sheridan Oursler, and John Hey from the arcade version!)

SNES

  • Donkey Kong Country (a few more Donkey and Diddy animations and others)
  • Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
  • Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble
  • NBA Jam (text sprites reading "PRESS ABXY TO CHOOSE" and "PRESS SELECT TO SWAP")
  • NBA Jam Tournament Edition
    • NBA Jam leftovers, including the graphics mentioned above
    • "B" Powerup arrow
    • Player heads (in the article already, but needs more information)
  • Stunt Race FX (Models and sprites, and an early version of the Stunt Trax menu)
  • Nickelodeon GUTS (A few unused animations for the player and a stunt spotter in the Gym/Mountain games. Stunt spotters is normally only seen in the Aerial games.)

N64

  • Diddy Kong Racing (a few more 2-dimensional object graphics)

Game Boy Advance

  • Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land (nearly every enemy has at least one palette which isn't used)

Unused Levels/Areas

SNES

  • The Ren and Stimpy Show: Veediots! (area using "The Boy Who Cried Rat" house tile set, but with blue wallpaper--scrapped boss?)

Unused Playable Characters

Genesis

  • NBA Jam Tournament Edition
    • The data for most of the NBA players found in the Prototype of the SNES version still exist in the final version. Due to a programming oversight--the fact all of these data blocks are assigned value 00--the data for Larry Nance (the first of these unused players) gets applied to Tim Hardaway, who also has 00 as a value.

SNES

  • NBA Jam
    • An unused copy of Washington exists in the 28th team slot, replacing Gugliotta with an unfinished cheerleader who has a glitchy head. She exists in the prototype as well, but with different, non-glitched graphics.

Prototypes

SNES

  • Yoshi's Cookie (lots of differences here)
