Pokemon Confusion
In Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, you deleted my page because it was regional differences, but isn't Pokemon Red and Blue's bug page the same thing? --TmanDaCool1-- (talk) 04:38, 16 January 2015 (EST)
Empty Files
You said that "we don't cover empty files and folders", but this page has quite a few empty files listed, and even explains how their filenames connect them to certain aspects of the game. Can you explain this contradiction? --AquaBat (talk) 10:34, 12 February 2015 (EST)
- Those file names have far more significance than a blank audio file simply labelled "dummy". -- M64m (talk) 10:51, 12 February 2015 (EST)

Damnit!
Recreating when I have content.

- If you were about to add content, why are you saying you'll recreate the page when you have content? -Einstein95 (talk) 21:45, 12 February 2015 (EST)
Forget about that.
I have info now, for Prototype Features and Version Differences.— The preceding unsigned comment was added by LexDragon (talk) • (contribs)

I noticed the page I made was deleted. Did I break any rules creating the page? - AnthonyDaBest (talk) 17:02, 23 February 2015 (EST)
Don't be a jerk
Please wait a little longer before tagging a page with a "sucks" template and don't be priggish when writing comments, even if the quality of the page was underwhelming. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 20:39, 25 February 2015 (EST)

About the xbox version of ESIII
I have not played it myself. However, the XBox version was built off of the PC version's code so it has most if not all of the content present on the PC version. (the exception being able to mod and install mods.) most of the broken quests, bugs, and other things are present. There are a few differences but they're mostly related to hardware differences between the xbox and PC. There are also a few bugs that were introduced only in the Xbox version. The Xbox version also wasn't revised as much as the PC version. So I guess they are a bit different. Though is it different enough? --Glisp (talk) 13:15, 1 March 2015 (EST)
Port
In regards to the Super Street Fighter 4 edit: "We don't document differences between ports, but kept the revisional change". Are you sure? Because there are several game pages that have differences between ports, such as Megaman Legends (between PS1 and N64 versions) and I've added a lot of "version differences" regarding ports to several games. Or do you mean that since SSF4AE is the original one, that I shouldn't add version differences about the versions that came AFTER it? ReyVGM (talk) 04:40, 10 March 2015 (EDT)
- I'm not entirely sure, but I'd say the latter. -Einstein95 (talk) 04:43, 10 March 2015 (EDT)
Issues on IRC
I was going to ask you a question on IRC, but for some reason I was banned. Is there a reason why I was banned? I don't think I broke the rules, since all I did was ask a question. --8SomaCruzes (talk) 21:18, 31 March 2015 (EDT)
- If you use Mibbit, that's been banned due to abuse. Sites like KiwiIRC or standalone clients are fine. -Einstein95 (talk) 21:22, 31 March 2015 (EDT)
- Oh okay, thanks. --8SomaCruzes (talk) 21:55, 31 March 2015 (EDT)
Physical Address
A physical address refers to the address of a value in binary form such that the data base accesses that from a device. Also, this is how Derpygoat was able to enable the cheat. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 22:07, 31 March 2015 (EDT)
- You mean, they used a shit emulator and got an impossible cheat? Like making a game-genie code for patching a ram address? -Einstein95 (talk) 22:13, 31 March 2015 (EDT)
- Yep, that is how they got it (and Derypgoat is the lead coder for Mednafen). Also, Coach K College Basketball has a code that only seems to work in Kega Fusion. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 22:16, 31 March 2015 (EDT)
EA college football in the 16-bit era
Hey! Thanks for looking over the article.
A bit about the series... The EA college series begins with Bill Walsh College Football ('94) in 1993. BWCF also got a '95 version (like Madden the '95 version covers 1994). The original ('94) came out on the Genesis, SNES and the Sega CD but none of the other entries got CD releases, and only CFB USA 97 got on the SNES after that.
In 1996 the game became College Football USA and expanded from 36 teams to include all of NCAA Division I-A (108 teams) and actually could use their real names. CFB USA 97: The Road to New Orleans, which was one of just two to see an SNES release as well, has 111 (actually 112) teams (all the changes mirrored actual teams adding and dropping Div. I-A football) and is a generally improved game with menu graphics and other changes.
CFB USA 97 should probably have an article but for some reason the copy I have only shows every other character of text. It does seem to have all the stadium name oddities of CFB USA 96 (except Pacific, which dropped football).
After '97 EA got the rights to use the NCAA's likeness and the NCAA Football series began under that name in 1998, but it was entirely on the PlayStation. Raymie (talk) 02:59, 3 April 2015 (EDT)
- If the copy of CFB USA 97 has every other character of text, what format is it in (also what extension does it have)? The copy I have has the strings in readable order. -Einstein95 (talk) 03:11, 3 April 2015 (EDT)
HTTPS outgoing links
Hi, why do you change https URLs back to http? Not everybody has the HTTPS Everywhere extension. --
Sanky ~ talk 07:24, 6 April 2015 (EDT)
- This is something I've noticed that BMF has done in the past, plus Youtube links automatically redirect to https. -Einstein95 (talk) 07:41, 6 April 2015 (EDT)
What's so wrong with upping screenshots from another site?
It's not like it's copyright by them. It would not hurt MobyGames, nor would it hurt EA either. It's a damn freakin' title screen. It's needed anyway, The Sims 3 doesn't have the real title screen uploaded.
