Translations
It should be noted we prefer you include all the fields in the Bob from the English version, leaving the publisher, developer, and platform names as they are listed in the English article. This is because we want to see all the articles within a category and omitting them from a translation makes it inconsistent from the other translations and makes it slightly more difficult to find these articles. Also, don't forget to tag the subpages for translation too. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 16:46, 4 June 2016 (EDT)
- So, do you prefer me leave or revert to English names of publisher, developer, and platform in Bob instead, though Korean names also exist? I'm not sure when the process will be completed, anyway I'll try it. However, I can't tag the subpages manually because Bob tags automatically when translated subpages exist. In order to tag, subpages should be translated.--Inetidkm (talk) 03:33, 5 June 2016 (EDT)
- I did it. I hope you to be satisfied.--Inetidkm (talk) 06:42, 5 June 2016 (EDT)

- Oh, I misunderstood about tagging subpages for translation. It wasn't related to Bob template, was it? I'll check subpages that are not marked for translation though main articles are.--Inetidkm (talk) 00:29, 10 July 2016 (EDT)
- Make sure you're translating under the correct language. This is important, since you're translating the Unused Room page without checking to make sure you're editing for the Korean translation (Undertale/Unused Rooms/ko) and not the English one (Undertale/Unused Rooms/en).--From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 23:44, 10 July 2016 (EDT)

- Uh oh, I mistook. I often forget to set Korean language. How can I revert /en translations? Is it OK to paste just source text and save? --Inetidkm (talk) 23:48, 10 July 2016 (EDT)
- Yes, you can copy and paste the original English text back in for the English translation, in case you accidentally put a translation there. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 23:50, 10 July 2016 (EDT)

Two Korean translation requests
Hello, we've just updated the {{needstranslation}} tag to require the language to be marked as well. After converting them to the new style, I've found two pages which need a Korean-English translation. If you have time, would you please look at these two pages and see what you can do?
Aion and Dota 2 are the pages in question. Also, Category:Articles needing translation and Category:Articles needing translation/ko might be worth remembering if you ever get bored and are looking for something to do! :)
Thank you!

- Thank you for giving what I'm interested in. They seemed to be great tasks for me! However, in fact, I'm busy recently because of my new job, so translation processes might be postponed for a few days. I hope I'll finish my job and translation as fast as possible. --Inetidkm (talk) 00:58, 5 January 2017 (EST)
번역 정말 감사합니다...
영어와 한국어에 둘 다 능숙한 사용자는 여기에도 있다는 건 정말로 예상치 못 했는데.... 아무튼, Inetidkm님도 문서들을 한국어로 번역해 주셔서 정말 감사합니다. :) Arthur1124 (talk) 13:20, 22 December 2017 (EST)
- Haha, you're welcome. I've just translated English to Korean to learn and verify the contents about hidden things of games as a hobby, but I was realized that Korean language became second popular language in TCRF followed by English, the main language lol I am now so busy so I couldn't translate the articles recently, but I'm relieved by the co-operaters about Korean translation like you :) Thank you!--Inetidkm (talk) 08:56, 23 December 2017 (EST)
Yoshi's Cookie for Korean Wiis
Hi. I am trying to track down a rare version of "Yoshi's Cookie" that was downloadable to Korean Wiis. It is no longer downloadable. Do you think you could help? --Hiccup (talk) 15:57, 8 July 2018 (EDT)
- Hello. I heard that you want to get "Yoshi's Cookie" on the virtual console from Korean Wiis. Unfortunately, however, I don't have both Wii consoles and Wii point, and I couldn't find who owns this game. Also, as shown as [1] (Korean), I can't get Wii point since March 2018 even though using the console of other people. I'm sorry that I can't help you, but I think that "Yoshi's Cookie" on Korean Wiis doesn't have much difference with the English NES version. This link [2] (Korean) might be help you to research. Thank you.--Inetidkm (talk) 18:03, 9 July 2018 (EDT)
번역 관련해서 질문드립니다.
안녕하세요. 이번에 번역에 참여하기 위해 새로 가입한 사용자입니다. 번역 도움말을 읽어 보았으나 잘 이해가 안되는 점이 있어 질문드립니다. 번역하고자 하는 문서의 내용을 translate 태그로 감싸면 번역을 시작할 수 있는건가요? Kjh27680 (talk) 09:27, 1 January 2020 (EST)
- Welcome to TCRF! I'm sorry for late response because I'm not active recently :( Also, translation help isn't the complete manual/guide and I just translated it directly to Korean, so it may not contain what you want.
- Articles of mediawiki-based wikis including TCRF need <translate> tag at the first and </translate> at the last line as you mentioned. In addition, it's recommended to attach <languages /> tag before <translate> to show the list of languages.
- However, you cannot translate the article just after the tagging. This tagging process means the REQUEST of making the article translatable. You can only translate the article with the acceptance of the TCRF administrators. They sometimes don't accept the request by the possible situations following:
- Administrators didn't see the request
- You tagged the active article with frequent edits
- You tagged the inadequate article (e.g. User namespace)
- If you think that they didn't see it, you can leave a message to them using their talk pages, and they will see the request.
- Please feel free to leave a question if you have, and I will answer as soon as possible. Thank you. --Inetidkm (talk) 10:03, 3 January 2020 (EST)
Hey, can you translate this word for me? I translate it and it has no results, can you help me?
This is the word "시이작?", it always Romanizes the word when I translate it and I can't seem find it on Wiktionary. Gamerknowitall (talk) 01:31, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
