Just so you know, we don't really cover glitches here, especially ones caused by using debugging features (e.g. the SMB2 proto's level select), unless they reveal something unused. --BMF54123 16:24, 25 August 2013 (EDT)

Okay understandable, but I was just showing what I found. Some levels like these two pictured are functional, while others, like A-2 seems to cause the game to hang and the boss battle music to play in the background. --RPD490 16:29, 25 August 2013 (EDT)
This is because the game is reading invalid data for those level numbers. The game was only designed to handle seven worlds, and trying to load levels outside of the normal range causes all sorts of unpredictable things to happen. As interesting as some of these glitched worlds may be, they are in no way unused. --BMF54123 16:36, 25 August 2013 (EDT)
