Illusion of Gaia Unused Code/Debug Menu
Hey there, would you happen to have game genie codes or a source that explains how to spawn the debug NPC into the map and activate any of the unused code, such as the NPC to fly from Watermia to South Cape? Thanks a lot for your contributions! --Kimimaru (talk) 06:30, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
- The IOG engine doesn't offer an easy way to do this dynamically. Direct ROM edits are the easiest approach. Example: at $0c82fd write $20,$ee,$8b to have Debug Man outside the school instead of the unimportant NPC who usually spawns there. The Sky Deliveryman is a Watermia NPC subtype; at $0cb49f write $47 and the person at the entrance will spawn as the Sky Deliveryman. Accessing the unused final boss is an ordeal, but I published a patch (http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/4989/) that fixes and implements it. --Raeven0 (talk) 01:36, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
