Kudos on the Final Fantasy Tactics finds! I'm interested to see what else is lingering about. -- Rick 16:17, 18 May 2010 (EDT)
- Thanks. FFT is one of my favorite games, and was one of the first games I was able to discover any unused content in, so it's kinda special to me in that regard. =P That said, I unfortunately no longer have my PS1 or Gameshark, so I'm writing much of this from memory, and as I said in the article, some of it may be hazy. I'll attempt to re-test/clarify it and get some screens of this stuff via emulator some time, though. -YK 16:41, 18 May 2010 (EDT)
Wow! Thanks for getting those images of the unused Knights of Justice items. I was just about to make an edit asking if anyone with hacking skills could do that. That was really quick! The Sapphire of Truth is a palette swap of the other gems, but I'm pretty sure all the other sprites are unique, so that's quite interesting. --Flying Omelette 20:53, 19 May 2010 (EDT)
- I should thank *you* for pointing out those items in the first place! I'd have never otherwise known they were there! I actually read your KoJ article a while back, and was curious. When I saw you were porting some of your findings here, I decided to try hacking the inventory to see if they still existed. My method of finding them wasn't very sophisticated (I basically found the inventory offsets in a savestate and put in a bunch of random numbers until they popped up), but hey, it worked! Also... weren't you the one who pointed out the missing Robotrek Programmers' Room song in the SNESMusic.org SPC set not long ago? Thanks for that, too. =P -YK 20:57, 19 May 2010 (EDT)
- Yup, that was me. I'm going back a few years now, but I think I also mentioned the missing Ogre Lair song in Knights of Justice, the hidden song at the end of Star Fox if you wait at the final screen for several minutes, and the missing tavern theme in Drakkhen. I'll always let you know if I find anything else that's missing. And thanks go to you and everyone else at SNESMusic.org for working so hard on making those SPC sets available to game music enthusiasts like myself. --Flying Omelette 21:14, 19 May 2010 (EDT)
- Yeah, I remember that, now that you mention it... Also, got a bit of info about Blackwing. I don't remember where I read it (I don't *think* it was your site, but I could be wrong; if so, forgive me for saying something dumb), but I've heard speculation that Blackwing may have been replaced in-game with the dragon you fight early on, since it's the only boss in the game (that I'm aware of) that *isn't* listed among that text you found. Maybe that's where he was supposed to be fought, but the developers decided it was too early for a Warlord battle at that point? -YK 21:21, 19 May 2010 (EDT)
- That's definitely a possibility and I have a feeling it's probably the truth. I actually speculated about that when I submitted the KoJ article to Rick's wiki, but I omitted that sentence when I copied the article over, because I felt I was speculating too much and I was trying to keep my hopes up. --Flying Omelette 21:42, 19 May 2010 (EDT)

new heading with no name because derp
I wasn't gonna make a page for one unused item, but seeing as how it's here and all...
Nyet! Always make a new page even if it's for something trivial. You never know when something miniscule will lead to the game getting further exploration and discoveries!
Example: Recca's article started as just a "Sega-like sound and logos", then some more research turned it into the full intro it is now. --Xkeeper 03:16, 23 May 2010 (EDT)
- Hm. You're right. The purpose of this Wiki *is*, after all, to list all manner of unused stuff, no matter how much or how little. I still know about quite a bit of unused stuffs from various other games. And yeah, now that you mention it... had the Knights of Justice page not been ported here, I'd never had tried to find the unused item icons, which lead me to screwing up a save in such a way that it lead others to the discovery of debug mode. Cause and effect, and all that. -YK 03:40, 23 May 2010 (EDT)
- Trivia: I may never have found any of the unused stuff in Knights of Justice had I not read that Nintendo Power article where the developer said Blackwing was his favorite boss. I thought, "Wait a minute, there's no Blackwing boss in this game", and that led to me opening up the ROM in tile viewers and notepad and asking around for codes in hopes of trying to find it. --Flying Omelette 07:35, 23 May 2010 (EDT)
just a quick thanks. :o
Thanks for neatening up the FFVI thing I just put up. >>; not enough sleep for me to write a good thing, but... enough consciousness to know that it ought to be up here. You own! --RahanAkero 04:18, 29 May 2010 (EDT)
