Yo-kai Watch 3 is the third main instalment in the Yo-kai Watch series, which is jam-packed full of new Yo-kai, new locales to explore, a revamped battle system, and American stereotypes. Lots and lots of American stereotypes.
This game was originally made to appeal to western audiences hence the setting, but the poor handling of the franchise overseas and complicated localization ended up releasing this game very late into the Nintendo 3DS' lifespan, just 4-6 months before Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth.

Unused Areas

Unused Blasters T map?(room id:t592d10)
Found between some Blasters T maps. It's an empty red room with some clouds floating by. It even has unused music.
Collision test?(room id:t401d99)
It's a big area with some invisible slopes/stairs and a low quality dirt graphic.
UFO

This area is only used in a cutscene, so it can't be explored. However, teleporting inside of it reveals a header and a map, which are unseen normally.
Uptown-Triangle Way
There's a weird area called: Uptown-Triangle Way. Unfortunately, it's an empty void.
Riddle Rooms
Technically not unused. In the riddle, the player is in a 1st person perspective, so the full areas can't be seen. By using a save editor, it's possible to see them in the overworld. When going downstairs in Katie's room, the player will be teleported in the normal house.
Test Rooms
There are 11 test rooms in total. testmap and testmappl 1-10. All of them are empty (according to my knowledge), except testmap. It has 4 horses and a shiny item on the ground. There's no solid ground. Because of this, the item and the horses can't be interacted with.
Unused Music

A music that would be best fit for Blasters T, which can be heard in the unused room t592d10.

Summoning App
The summoning app was cut from international versions of the game, but the icon along with its related graphics were fully translated in English.
Everything is the same, except that the summoning songs don't play at all for either Yo-kai Watch when a Yo-kai is summoned.

Despite the international versions of the game not supporting NFC functionality, the text strings for said feature was fully translated.

Unused Items
3 Debug Items exist in Zombie Night. When used, Debug Item 1 maxes out the backpack level, Debug Item 2 maxes out your Whomper and Debug Item 3 maxes out your Armor. It's clear that they were used for testing.
