Arwing
In June 2011, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata held an informal conference with some Ocarina of Time's original developers for his "Iwata Asks" interview series, in honor of Ocarina of Time 3D's release. Within Part 2 of the interview, Satoshi Takizawa brought up the topic of the complexities of boss physics. Takizawa, after modeling the dragon-like Fire Temple boss, Volvagia, was impressed to find that Kazuaki Morita had quickly put his work into motion. It was revealed that Morita had taken the physics from a Starfox 64 scene, in which an arwing was tailed by an enemy fighter, and applied it to the newly created boss. Morita also commented that he was able to do it simply by "switching in the dragon for the fighter," implying he had implemented the Arwing before it was applied to the Volvagia model.
Upon close inspection, it can be found that the unused Arwing, discovered in the final release of Ocarina of Time, does mimic Volvagia's physics. This evidence most certainly confirms that the Arwing was, in fact, an engine test.

Item Modifier
8011A638 00?? - Modify B button item (US v1.0)
Generally, you can use any of the normal items as either Link, save for a few combinations. Using the Deku Stick as an Adult will crash the N64, but not the emulated versions (GCN/Wii). Attempting to use the Hookshot/Longshot as a child will result in a soft lock. The Bow and Magic Arrow Items act as the Slingshot as a child, and Slingshot acts like the Bow as an Adult. Magic Arrows act the same as the Bow + Magic Arrows. The Biggoron Sword is the same item as the Giant's Knife. A hit count determines whether it's broken or not, while another flag determines whether the hit count should decrease.

Crash debug - OCARINA/LEGEND
In this screen the bottom normally always reads "OCARINA 00000000 00000000" - anyone know the meaning of it? When I was playing with the "Beta Quest" a long time ago, I once saw it say LEGEND instead... always wondered why that was. HyperHacker 13:44, 2 August 2010 (EDT)
