You know a beat-'em-up isn't quite perfect when it can only have two enemies on-screen.

Unused Music

Track 10 in the sound test, as heard in the Genesis version, was intended for the battle with Mr. X. However, since music never changes within one area, the theme of Shiva (who is fought before Mr. X) is heard for the entirety of both battles. A sped up version of this track is used for Streets of Rage 4.

Extra Options

In the options menu, set Level to Easy, Players to 01, BGM to 02, and SE to 03, then highlight Level and press 1+2 to add a level select and invincibility toggle to the menu.
