A Normal Lost Phone/Translation Comments

This is a sub-page of A Normal Lost Phone.

The text of A Normal Lost Phone is stored in the form of CSV-formatted TextAsset assets. Most of these CSV assets have a column titled 'Comments', which for many pieces of text contains comments left by the developers concerning the piece of text in question, likely intended for the translators of the game. These comments are not viewable in-game.

All of the developer comments (which are almost all in French) are listed below, along with, in most cases, a partial version of the corresponding text (in English). The covered text is still however from more or less every part of the game (though the actual portion of the game's text which has comments isn't neccessarily massive), so maybe keep that in mind. Also; this page definitely isn't a substitute for actually playing the game.

The 'gallery' CSV does not have a 'Comments' column, and the 'Comments' column of the 'calendar' CSV is completely empty.

Messages (messages)

The comments column in this CSV doesn't actually have a title. The messages are grouped by contact, and are presented here in the order that they appear in the CSV. The 'sent' column determines whether the message was sent to or received from the contact. All of the contacts in the Messages app have at least one comment associated with them.

Comment (translation)	Here we are at Sam's diary, only accessible at the end of the game. Sam confides her emotions to herself alone (and indirectly to the player, so that they understand the story better). The entries in the diary are between December 1 and January 31, when she had a new phone before she lost it. She writes using feminine terms. The last column "Mood" at the end does not appear to the player, but it does cause the notes to appear in different colors and styles depending on the "mood" of the entry. This can give you some hints on how to translate too :)
