Cheat Mode
Game Gear
Press and hold down 2 as the Sega logo fades out. While the screen is black, press Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Down, Up. Start a new game and a Cheat Mode screen will appear. You can choose what stage to start on, and if you press 2, you'll be granted invincibility. You can still die if the time runs out, however.
Master System
As soon as the game starts, hold 2. As soon as the music starts, quickly press Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Down, Up. If the text appears before you finish then you were too slow. When you start, a stage select will appear. Press 2 in this menu to enable invincibility.
These screens also show the game's build date and the name of the programmer, Dominic Wood.
Unused Music
The ending theme from the NES version is present, but for some reason doesn't play.
An unused track unique to this version of the game.
