Bugs:Boogerman: A Pick and Flick Adventure (SNES)
This page details bugs of Boogerman: A Pick and Flick Adventure (SNES).
Sound Test Bug
"Music Off" does not disable nor remove the music; instead, it plays "Stupid Tune" from later on in the sound list which itself appears to be unused.
HUD Bug
When starting a new game after beating the game, you will retain your score from the previous game. It seems this is what the devs were going for, but the HUD is heinously bugged - the belch and booger meters are bugged, life and plunger counts are simply not shown, and if you miraculously kept any powerups after defeating Booger Meister, the game will display these also, even though you don't retain them in the new game. Hiding the HUD elements seems to be unintentional; even if you get a Game Over, this "feature" will not be removed.
Ending Bug
In the Genesis version's ending, you can move Boogerman into the right side door and he'll become Snotty Ragsdale, the janitor. You can then limitedly move him around in this form; go back into the door and he'll become Boogerman again. In the SNES version, this appears to be bugged or incomplete, as entering the right side of the screen will instead cause the "Booger!" voice clip to play whenever you move and not actually change you into the janitor.
