Bully (PlayStation 2)/Unused Dialogue/Mission Dialogue/Chapter 3
This is a sub-page of Bully (PlayStation 2)/Unused Dialogue/Mission Dialogue.
Christmas Is Here
The original mission concept for Christmas Is Here is a complete mystery. Judging from the unused conversation, Jimmy was probably supposed to go all over Bullworth Town and Old Bullworth Vale to look for the presents so he could give them to the students. From the strings, it is listed as the fifth mission while the final, it is technically available after Jimmy goes to sleep in that Chapter. It was unknown if it was actually intended to be a mission or just flavor text.
|Justin||So, Harrington House has purchased presents for the student body.|
|Pedro||It's really nice.|
|Trevor||See? I told you those guys aren't all jerks!|
|Justin||To make it a little more interesting, we've hidden them all around town.|
|Pedro||Aw.. whenever I go outside, I get beat up...and snowballs thrown at me! I hate winter!|
|Justin||The risk-reward ratio only adds to the enjoyment, my young poor friend.|
Jealous Johnny was going to be a lot longer and different. Judging from the dialogue, this mission would've taken place at Old Bullworth Vale, rather than around Bullworth Town.
First, Jimmy was supposed to meet up with Johnny in the New Conventry bypass, the intro cutscene was originally supposed to take place at Bullworth Academy as evidenced by unused marker coordinates.
|Johnny||No time to talk. I need you to follow Gord and take pictures at anything he might do with Lola.|
|Jimmy||Alright, alright. Where is he?|
|Johnny||I don't know, at the school? Go and check there and when you find them, don't lose sight of 'em.|
|Jimmy||And take pictures of anything interesting, like Gord and Lola making out.|
|Johnny||Yeah, pictures. But they're for my eyes only.|
There are quotes of Johnny reminding Jimmy to get the photos but he never says them and the mission text reminds Jimmy to "get some photos of Gord making out with Lola".
|Johnny||I told you to get some pictures, Jimmy. Pictures.|
|Johnny||You're not done? Get me those pictures.|
|Johnny||Come on, I'm dying here. Could you get the pictures?|
Parker would've briefly appeared walking with Gord, before he would've set off to meet with Lola.
|Parker||Bit late for a constitutional walk around town, isn't it Gord?|
|Gord||Just off to meet up with..." a friend".|
|Parker||Ah, I see. Wink wink and all that.|
|Parker||Well, crumpets before strumpets I always say. Still, a man's got to do what a man's got to do.|
After that, Gord would've met Lola. They visit the beach during the winter season, which makes it odd in some circumstances.
|Gord||Hey there, hot stuff.|
|Lola||Hey there, Gord baby.|
|Gord||Come over here, you little vixen.|
|Gord||Kissy kissy, baby.|
|Lola||Easy there, sailor. You think I'm that easy?|
|Lola||I'll race you to the beach, Gordi. See if you can catch me!|
|Gord||Hahaha, I'm coming to get ya, baby!|
After they have fun at the beach, they both meet up with several Preps. Judging from the randomized quotes, it was possible that Jimmy was supposed to take a picture of Lola and Gord conversing with some preps. There are also lines of the Preps if they notice Jimmy.
|Gord||Evening, chaps! My date and I need a little privacy if you know what I mean. Mind helping us out?|
|Tad||Oh Gord, you and your cheap thrills.|
|Justin||I'd be worried about catching something.|
|Justin||It's going to be embarrassing for him when she waits on his table one day.|
|Justin||That Gord, he's always being such a rate!|
|Tad||One day, I'll do something like that too. It must be exciting.|
|Tad||Well, good for a little fun but without the connections you know it won't last.|
|Tad||We have to go to her trailer or whether.|
|Pinky||I don't know. Fraternizing with the lower classes should be done out of sight.|
|Pinky||I don't know. That Hopkins kid is... such a rebel. (Sigh)|
|Pinky||Low rent is low rent, my daddy always says.|
|Justin||We got us a Peeping Tom here!|
|Tad||Who's that?! Get him!|
|Pinky||Oh my God! Is that Jimmy over there?!|
When the other preps noticed them, Jimmy was probably supposed to get away from the Preps so they wouldn't notice him.
After Jimmy got away from the Preps, it seems that Gord and Lola set off to somewhere else.
|Gord||Looks like I caught you, Lola.|
|Lola||Sure does. What'cha gonna do with me?|
|Gord||You're loving it, baby.|
|Gord||Who's that? Did you hear something?|
|Lola||I don't think so, but I do feel a little...exposed.|
|Gord||I know a better place. Let's go.|
|Gord||See you later.|
Seems the Preps would keep talking after Gord and Lola left.
|Tad||It would seem so.|
|Pinky||No kidding! I've heard rumors about him.|
|Justin||Oh, those aren't true.|
Afterward, Jimmy was likely supposed to take a picture of Lola and Gord in the car while Stimpson drives around Bullworth Town. From some of the dialogue, it seems Jimmy was supposed to follow them around on a bicycle after he steals one from Trevor.
|Jimmy||Hey, I need to borrow this. Stupid rich people and their stupid drivers.|
|Trevor||Hey! That's my bike!|
|Jimmy||I'm just borrowing it!|
|Gord||Stimpson, go drive her around the block a few times.|
|Gord||Come on, Lola. No one will disturb us in the garage.|
It's unknown where the final part took place, according to the Room Trophy after clearing the mission, Tad and Lola were supposed to meet up at the gazebo near the bridge in Bullworth Town. It's possible that Jimmy was supposed to take a picture of Gord trying to undo Lola's bra. Some text lines for these can be found in the american.img file.
|Lola||Oh Gord, you really know how to treat a girl!|
|Gord||Just you wait and see.|
|Lola||Not for too much longer, I hope.|
|Lola||No, no-no! The hooks are in the back.|
|Lola||Are you sure you've done this before?|
|Lola||Okay, I think you're getting it.|
|Jimmy||Lola! What are you doing with that chump?|
|Lola||It's getting kind of hot in here, don'cha think?|
|Gord||I see where this is going, you little strumpet.|
|Lola||Yeah, it's a little stuffy in here and I'm going home. See ya!|
|Gord||But, but- oh well.|
Jimmy also has unused quotes for taking pictures, dependant if they were good or bad, but he never says them.
|Jimmy||Oh Gord, you naughty boy.|
|Jimmy||That's what I call an action shot.|
|Jimmy||Lola, what are you thinking?|
|Jimmy||Ah, that doesn't show Johnny anything!|
|Jimmy||Nah, not good enough.|
|Jimmy||I better try again.|
Jimmy was supposed to get away from Thad and Fatty after stealing their bike, then lure Gord to the BMX Park as normal.
|Thad||Hey! That's my bike!|
|Fatty||Don't worry, I'll get him!|
It's possible that Fatty was supposed to chase after Jimmy when he steals his bike.
|Fatty||He's got my bike!|
|Fatty||Give me back my bike!|
If Jimmy managed to knock Gord out of the bike and steal it, he would say those quotes.
|Gord||What is he doing with my bike?! Stop! Thief!|
|Gord||I'll get you, you thieving bastard!|
|Gord||That's MY bike, you common scum! I want it back!|
|Gord||Stop now, and I WON'T report this!|
|Gord||I WON'T let you get away with this!|
|Gord||Give me back my bike!|
Where these would be used is unknown.
|Gord||What's all that ruckus? Let's get outta here.|
|Tad||Damn noisy pleebs!|
There are two unused lines for Vance during the part where Jimmy has to beat up the Preps.
|Vance||Tad, you been messin' with the wrong girl!|
An unused take for the ending cutscene. It was likely changed because it didn't fit with Johnny's character.
|Johnny||Thanks, Jimmy! You're a good kid, you know. Here's ya money, see ya around.|
|Jimmy||Sure thing, Johnny.|
Rendezvous is a mission that was cut during development, it was supposed to take place after Bait. While the leftover code to run the mission doesn't use any voice clips, they are still found within the files.
Lola was supposed to meet up with Tad near the closed cinema while Jimmy attempts to knock out Greasers with the slingshot. Although, two lines are missing for some reason.
|Lola||Oh, there you are! Maybe you should find a good place to keep watch...don't let them see you.|
|Lola||Hey Tad! Over here!|
Next, the Greasers notice that Gord is dating Lola, so they get some help.
|Ricky||There he is! With Lola!|
|Norton||I'll get the others!|
|Lola||Don't let them intimidate you, Tad! I'll be waiting for you up there.|
|Tad||All right, baby! I'll show them what a difference class makes.|
|Jimmy||What are you doing, Lola?|
|Lola||Hiding. I just want to see how the fight turns out.|
If Jimmy moves out of the balcony, Lola would say any of these things and the mission would fail.
|Lola||Don't let them see you, Jimmy.|
|Lola||Where are you going?!|
|Lola||Please stay with me, Jimmy!|
Lola has lines if Greasers come from the left,
|Lola||Look out! There's more on the left!|
|Lola||They're coming from the left!|
from the right,
|Lola||On the right, Jimmy! On the right!|
|Lola||Watch out on the right!|
from over the fence,
|Lola||Oh, I think they're gonna climb the fence!|
|Lola||They're jumping the fence, Jimmy!|
and when there is a lot of them.
|Lola||They're coming from all over!|
|Lola||There's so many of them!|
Lola would've said those lines if Jimmy manages to knock out the Greasers.
|Lola||Did you see that punk?|
|Lola||Good shot, Jimmy!|
|Lola||This is so exciting!|
If Jimmy fails to defend Tad from the Greasers, Lola would say this and the mission will fail.
|Lola||I thought you could do this, Jimmy! You suck...|
It seems that those next lines were supposed to be used while Jimmy was knocking out the Greasers from the balcony.
|Norton||You never should've gotten out of bed today, Tad!|
|Ricky||You've been hanging around Lola, trying to like that, ..and now you're gonna pay.|
|Hal||Stay with my girls, rich boy!|
|Lucky||*whistle* ...He's over there, in the back!|
|Ricky||Get the guy in the balcony!|
|Hal||He's got her friend shooting! Get 'em!|
|Lucky||On the balcony, sniping!|
After that, the mission will end.
|Lola||That was awesome! Thanks Jimmy, see ya around.|
|Lola||Bye, Tad! I'll call you!|
|Tad||Lola? Hey, Lola! Wait for me!|
Wrong Part of Town
The name of the dialog files states that the lines were going to be in a slightly different order, despite almost all of them being used.
There are two additional lines for the Greasers before Jimmy attempts to save Cornelius.
|Johnny||Get lost! This ain't none of your business.|
|Ricky||I was hoping you'd say that.|
Because there are no Pizza Parlors in Bullworth (at least in the final game), it was likely removed. Also, the order of the line is placed before Jimmy finds Algernon and the others.
|Ricky||That nerd lied to us! He's not here!|
There are additional lines if Jimmy finds Algernon, also, Gary was supposed to play a bigger role in the mission as opposed to making a cameo when Johnny interrogates Cornelious.
|Jimmy||Algie, you're in so much trouble with Johnny Vincent and his boys.|
|Algernon||But- but I was just helping Lola study, honestly, I'm so scared..!|
|Jimmy||Yeah, I believe you, but Johnny's not so quite reasonable.|
|Jimmy||Anyways, you're in luck. Earnest sent me to get you out of here.|
|Gary||I found them guys, they're over here!|
|Algernon||I'm outta here!|
Jimmy would've responded to Algernon when he is shocked that Chad worries of his reputation.
|Chad||You could thank me for saving you later, but I seriously can't be seen with you losers.|
|Algernon||You're worried about your reputation?!|
|Jimmy||Don't worry about it, but we should get back to the Library.|
There is an additional line for Gary at the end of the mission, likely watching Jimmy and the Nerds celebrate their victory.
|Cornelius||Oh, wonderful! You found him!|
|Earnest||Good job, Jimmy! You do have your uses, after all!|
|Algernon||Well, thanks for all the help, Jimmy! Perhaps you could come over to the observatory and play a game or two of Grottos and Gremlins with us sometime!|
|Gary||You're not getting away with this! I'm getting Johnny.|
It seems Lola was supposed to announce the race countdown, but in the final, she's entirely silent. Also, Lola doesn't say the countdown in time to the normal countdown length.
|Lola||Ready boys?! Time to really prove you can race!|
Greasers even have lines for when they chop down the trees to use as obstacles.
|Hal||Haha! Watch out for fallin' trees!|
|Norton||Look where you're going, dumbass!|
A line said by Johnny before he leaves with the other Greaser if Jimmy won the race.
|Johnny||Alright Jimmy, you won. Of course, my bike wasn't tuned right! I'm gonna head to the shop and do some work on it.|
|Johnny||C'mon, we're leaving!|
|Lola||More bike talk?! I'll meet you guys later.|
This is notably the only Girlfriend Mission when there aren't any unique lines for the ending cutscene, even though there is a full set of lines, entirely unused! In the final version, they use generic romance lines.
|Lola||Wow Jimmy, you're fast! ...Are you always that fast?|
|Jimmy||Sometimes, I like to take it slow.|
|Jimmy||See ya around...Lola.|
|Lola||I hope so, Jimmy.|
|Lola||He's so dreamy...|
Jimmy was supposed to sneak into a room while Lefty falls asleep, Lefty still appears in the mission in a bed, but standing up non-mobile instead.
|Vance||Alright, keep sleeping you jerk, I'll find something else to do.|
It seems you have to try and sneak into the room without waking him up so Jimmy could probably take the item.
|Lefty||*snore* Haahhhh... *snore* Ahahhh...|
|Lefty||Oh, baby....come over here...|
After Jimmy takes the item, Lefty will wake up. What's weird is that the "greasebag" line was meant to be said by Jimmy, but it was recorded with Hal's voice for unknown reasons.
|Lefty||Whoah, what? Who's that?!|
|Lefty||What are you doin' here?!|
|Jimmy||None of your business.|
|Jimmy||Go back to sleep.|
|Hal||Hey Ricky, could you get me a- Hey, Hopkins?!|
|Hal*||That's right, greasebag, you know smoking's bad for your health!|
It seems Krakauer, one of the elders, was supposed to make an appearance in the mission, possibly off-screen.
|Krakauer||Will you kids shut up?!|
|Krakauer||I'm gonna call the cops if you don't keep it down!|
|Krakauer||Stop that god-awful racket!|
Jimmy has lines figuring out how to break the walls down, but he doesn't say them in-game.
|Jimmy||That's a little too tough to tear down with my bare hands.|
|Jimmy||Maybe I could break it with the right tool.|
|Jimmy||I'm sure a big hammer or something will do the trick.|
Jimmy even has unique lines for picking up Lola's items, but they use generic pickup quotes in the final.
|Jimmy||I wonder what "Maximum Strength" means for lipstick.|
|Jimmy||There it is...why exactly did she leave her clothes here?|
|Jimmy||Ooooh. This would be interesting to read.|
|Jimmy||Hmm... I wonder how many copies have been made of these.|
|Jimmy||This does smell pretty good.|
There is one additional line that was supposed to be said by Jimmy when the fight with Norton begins.
|Norton||Whoah, what are you doing here?!|
|Jimmy||Umm... taking out the trash?|
|Norton||Looks like that's what I have to do.|
|Jimmy||Man, this place sure is crap!|
When Jimmy picks up the sledgehammer, he would've said this.
|Jimmy||Perfect for a little demolition.|
There are two unused lines for Ricky and Vance when they find out that Norton has been
ran over by an Elementary School bus knocked out by Jimmy.
|Ricky||He got Norton!|
|Jimmy||You bastards are all going down!|
Finally, there are two unused lines for the ending cutscene.
|Lola||Thanks honey, you're great.|
|Jimmy||I bet you say that to all the boys.|
|Lola||Maybe I do, but this time, I really mean it.|
The Rumble/Fighting Johnny Vincent
First, three of the Preps will tell the gang to start claiming the turf but they never show up at the area in the final.
|Derby||Alright, men! This.. is it! Time to show those low-life scum their proper place!|
|Derby||If you don't stick it out, I'll make sure no good school will ever accept you.|
It seems Jimmy was supposed to follow the Greasers while trying to avoid the police. It was possible that blockades were supposed to be used in this mission.
|Peanut||How we gonna get to Johnny?|
|Vance||Let's go around here!|
|Vance||Damn! cops here, too!|
|Peanut||Let's backtrack, go through the trainyard.|
|Chad||There's some, get 'em!|
|Vance||Go! Get to Johnny! We'll cover your back.|
Seems like the Greasers would insult the police while following them.
|Ricky||911 is a joke!|
|Norton||Get outta here!|
|Peanut||You fuzz don't scare us.|
Lines for Peanut complaining about Jimmy following him.
|Peanut||Quit following me, you jerk!|
|Peanut||Jeez, you just don't give up, do you?|
|Peanut||Leave me alone!|
|Peanut||What's your damn problem?!|
Seems like eventually, we would have to battle Greasers while riding the bikes and following Peanut.
|Peanut||I told you not to follow me, jerk!|
|Norton||You ain't making it outta here alive!|
|Ricky||You're goin' down!|
|Lucky||Say your prayers, bitch!|
|Hal||Get that scum!|
After Peanut stopped riding his bike he was supposed to say this before we beat him up.
|Peanut||I'm done runnin', I'm taking you down!|
|Jimmy||Finally, you show some balls!|
After dealing with Peanut he was going say this, he was originally not going to stop in the alley where we meet Johnny as this conversation shows.
|Peanut||I was going to meet him in the Alley, by the Tenements. He's gonna kill you.|
|Jimmy||He can try..|
Seems like while going to the alley, Jimmy would come across Gord having some trouble with the Greasers.
|Gord||Somebody please help me!|
|Gord||Where is everybody?! Helppp!|
After saving Gord, he would become an ally.
|Jimmy||Alright Gord, back me up.|
|Gord||Don't worry, Jimmy. I got your back.|
After reaching the alley where Peanut stops in the final game, we would encounter Johnny and his gang whom Jimmy would defeat. The presence of Hal here indicates that originally we were going to fight the Greaser members that actually appear in the following cutscene, which is an oversight in the final game.
|Hal||You sure you don't want us to help you with them, Johnny?|
|Johnny||Hahahahahah, no! I'll enjoy the workout, just make sure he doesn't interfere.|
|Jimmy||The guy who is gonna kick your ass!|
|Jimmy||Johnny, first I'm gonna take out your bitches, then I'm comin' straight for you!|
Only one of the Greasers say the lines about the cops, even though Peanut and Vance don't appear in the scene. Ricky's line is used during the bicycle chase to the Junkyard.
|Peanut||The cops! Everybody go!|
|Vance||It's the cops! Run!|
|Ricky||The fuzz! Let's go!|
|Norton||Get outta here! The cops!|
An unused response from Jimmy to the line by Johnny before the other Greasers notice the Police and getaway to the Junkyard. |- !Character !Audio !Subtitle |- |Johnny
|You're lucky, Jimmy. I'll kick your ass later. |- |Jimmy
|Forget the cops. We're gonna settle this now. |} An unused clip where Jimmy appears to be struggling, apparently the part where Jimmy gets tripped from his bike and onto the Junkyard wasn't a cutscene, but in-game instead.
Jimmy has an unused response to Johnny at the start of his boss fight.
|Johnny||You got a lot of payback coming.|
|Johnny||<font color="Alright, boys. Good work! I got him where I need him!|
|Jimmy||That wasn't very nice, Johnny. Not nice at all.|
The following lines are Jimmy taunting Johnny while he rides his bicycle, he just stays silent as usual.
|Jimmy||C'mon, Johnny! Aren't you gonna finish me off?|
|Jimmy||Alright, Johnny! I ain't running anymore!|
|Jimmy||Are you getting tired of this yet, Johnny?|
The last part of the mission was completely different. Pete didn't appear at all, and it seems that Jimmy was supposed to find a way to turn on the crane, so he could get Johnny off of the bike. While the first three lines are used, the third line is used before the magnet is turned on.
|Jimmy||Let's see how you do in an even fight!|
|Johnny||I'm still going to beat you!|
|Vance||Hey, this is supposed to be off!|
|Lucky||I'm turnin' the magnet off!|
|Hal||Who left the magnet on?!|
The "You never should've touched her!" line is used in the final at the beginning of the mission and the second line is used at some point in the mission, they were supposed to be variations to be used with some other unused lines during the final part of the fight.
|Johnny||You never should've touched her!|
|Johnny||You learn to keep your hands off my girl!|
|Johnny||I'll teach you to laugh at me!|
|Johnny||I'll show you, I'll show everybody!|
Unused lines from Johnny, possibly meant for when he succeeded hitting Jimmy.
|Johnny||Howd'ya like that?!|
|Johnny||You're nothin' with dirt, Jimmy!|
|Johnny||Right in the face!|
The following line of Jimmy getting something into Johnny's face is unused and unknown what it was for.
|Jimmy||Hey Johnny, you got somethin' on your face!|
A couple of insults go unused, likely for Johnny if he was at low health.
An alternate, yet shorter take of the ending cutscene that wasn't supposed to be one.
|Jimmy||I told you I was the daddy, got it?!|
|Johnny||Alright, I give. She's yours!|
|Jimmy||This has nothing to do with her. I don't care. Keep her, she's yours.|
Pete even has unused lines reminding him to take down the greasers in the final version of the mission!
|Pete||Jimmy! Can you get rid of these greaseballs?|
|Pete||Jimmy, I wanna help but I can't get by these guys!|
|Pete||One more down!|
|Pete||Jimmy's my friend!|
The name of the audio files states that it was supposed to be a Chapter 2 mission.
It seems Jimmy wasn't originally going to follow Mr. Hattrick from the school to his house, but instead, he would go there and find the door locked only to see Hattrick arriving and gaining access.
|Jimmy||Figures it'd be locked.|
|Jimmy||Ah, here comes Hattrick.|
It seems Hattrick was supposed to notice Jimmy while he was inside before he went outside of the house.
|Hattrick||You! ...What are you doing in my yard?!|
Add the quotes.
Another example of a mission that was meant to be included in the original PlayStation 2 version but later added to Scholarship Edition.
Add the quotes.
Yet another cut mission added later to SE, its intro cutscene can be seen in the Bully "Holiday Special" video, even though that came out AFTER the game was released.
