The plan: Take Artillery and replace the tanks with cutesy little Worms armed with crazy and over-the-top weapons. The result: A game that keeps getting released (with minor changes) over and over again and has become something of a cash cow for Team17. And don't ever mention the 3D Worms games on a Worms community/board/chatroom - the opinions about those are very divisive.
Did you know that one of the weapons in the 2D Worms series references an actual business that exists/existed near Team17's headquarters and they nearly got sued over it? Now you know.
