Blow up a Centipede segment-by-segment, and sometimes a spider if it gets in the way.
Galaxian Leftovers
Centipede has two leftover sprites from Galaxian: the player's ship and an alien's diagonal sprite. This seems to be the result of Centipede sharing its game data table with the one from Galaxian.
The graphics data for the ship starts at 0xCB8, while the alien's data starts at 0xEED. The palette doesn't appear to be present, so the one from Galaxian has been used.
