Elementary, my dear Cactus.
This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically: Figure out how to view the graphics. It's likely BOY00 to BOY03.TEX are the same unused "boy" dancer textures.

Dance Dance Revolution 2ndMIX: Dreamcast Edition is like 2ndReMIX, but better. Hooray for less loading times!

Unused Song

Practically complete data for the song STRICTLY BUSINESS can be found in the game's disc, although the song itself is not playable. It is also unknown, but very likely, if step data exists. Paths are listed below:

  • Music: SOUND/07.WAV
  • Preview audio: SOUND/SHORT/07.WAV
  • Background?: BGFX/STRI.BIN
  • BGA code: BGFX/STRI.PER

The song is also referenced a couple times in the game's program file, 1ST_READ.BIN, at offsets 0x5EF3C and 0x62DC4:

The song's short name is referenced in the same file, at offset 0x637B0:

Unused Music

Edit Mode

File EDIT.ADX is the Edit Mode background music from the original Dance Dance Revolution 2ndReMIX. As for this release, a completely different tune is used.

AM-3P variant

File AM3PSPL.ADX is a variant of the track AM-3P. According to Yuichi Asami, the game's sound director, this version was used in the location test builds of the Dance Dance Revolution 2ndMIX arcade release.
