There's lots of unused audio in the game, ranging from attack grunts, to unused dialogue for cut Posse Members, to unused dialogue indicating unused playable characters!

Unused Jamie Call

Jamie has a call for Albert Contiello's boss battle. In the final game, Albert's fight is a part of Chapter 3, so it doesn't appear as a side mission. If loaded in the debug menu, the mission will appear as a side mission, but uses the call for "Zombies Gone Wild".

Unused Grunts

Some audio files have gaps in numbering. This is because some grunts were completely deleted from the files.

Nick

Farting Effort
Audio of Nick Ramos... farting.

Pain Intense
"Pain Intense" is a type of grunt used by the protagonists. While Nick has audio for pain intense, it uses the audio intended for his death scream, making this one unused.

Dick

Dick has some heavy attack grunts that go unused.

Chuck

Punch

Kick

Chuck has unused punching and kicking sound effects. These technically can play in-game, but only if the player attacks Chuck while he's being grappled by a zombie. These are ripped directly from Dead Rising 2.

Death Scream

Chuck has a death scream, but it never gets used as the game sets him to be unkillable. The scream is ripped directly from Dead Rising 2.

Zhi

Some bosses have death screams. However, when one is defeated, a sound effect plays that drowns out all other noises, making the death screams unused. Zhi is a boss with an unused death scream.

Jherii

Unused death scream for Jherii.

Hilde

Unused death screams for Hilde.

Adam

For whatever reason, Adam's swing heavy (used for weapon heavy attacks) audio isn't coded to play, and instead uses his medium swing audio in-game.

Big D

Big D also lacks the swing heavy coding. He also has unused punching and kicking sound effects. Like with Chuck, the hand-to-hand combat audio can only play via interrupting a zombie's grapple.

Doug

Doug, along with several other survivors, has their heavy swing and pushing audio go unused.

Dwayne

Dwayne has his swing heavy and pushing audio go unused.

Jason

Kick

Jason has his pushing, punching and kicking audio unused. Like with Chuck, the hand-to-hand combat audio can only play via interrupting a zombie's grapple.

Kelsey

While Kelsey is another survivor who has their heavy swing and pushing audio not coded to play, Elka and Kyla share her grunts, and have them coded to play. However, the pushing audio only gets used if the player knocks Elka to the ground. Elka and Kyla never have the opportunity to use the heavy swing audio.

Matt

Strangely, Matt is coded to use Warren's voice, but due to missing code, it doesn't properly load, so he doesn't have any grunts in-game. However, Derek and some gang members use Matt's grunts. Despite this, Matt's death scream, grapple struggle, and terrified scream never get used.

Phil has his swing heavy, pushing, punching and kicking audio unused. Like with Chuck, the hand-to-hand combat audio can only play via interrupting a zombie's grapple.

A set of zombie screams. Judging by the .big file name, fx_zfirstnoticevox.big, these would've been used when a zombie notices the player.

An unused song that was going to play on the crashed yacht.

An eerie song intended for a Slappy themed store.
