Early Music

Many of the earliest builds use the same instruments as Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Additionally, the gs_sound_data.sdat file from VER20080930 (dated 2008-Sep-30 as well) has replaced the DP instruments with newer ones, making the remaining/unused Sinnoh music sound different (or plain wrong in some cases).

Used as the title screen track in prototypes. A calm song with an underwater vibe thanks to the use of bubbles SFX.

Two versions of the music existed before it was swapped out with the final version's title screen theme. The first version uses Diamond & Pearl's instruments while the second uses the instruments the final game would use.
