...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.

The Source Developer Asset Repository is a repo full of all manner of unused/early content for many Source Engine games, including Team Fortress 2. To gain access to the repository, one must obtain a license from Valve Software at the cost of $2,500 and sign a non-disclosure agreement. Despite the NDA requirement, images of many files from the repository have been leaked online over the years, shedding some light on all sorts of odd unused concepts found in the game. This article aims to detail all the various leaks that have occurred over the years.

While most companies would go the route of issuing takedowns for leaks of this nature, Valve has adopted a more liberal stance where once something has been leaked, they don't attempt to issue takedowns. Investigations into the leaks do occur, but again, takedowns do not occur.
