Devotion is a first-person psychological horror game set in 1980s Taiwan, mostly in an apartment complex in Taipei. The game also incorporates elements based on Taiwanese culture and folk religion.

The game was initially released on Steam, but was removed just a week later after a controversial Easter egg referencing Chinese president Xi Jinping was found in the game. The game was later re-released on Red Candle's own digital store.

Region Lockout

In the 2021 version, if the game detects you are in China, it will lock itself on a warning screen.
