Unused Models
Goku Test Model
A weirdly customized Goku, probably a test model. The "hat" has no textures and some parts are clipping.
Unused Variants
Hidden in the game's files are character "variants". These variants only make small modifications to already existing characters, mostly for story mode purpouses. Menu NPCs and Cutscene NPCs will not be considered, having placeholder movesets and clearly not intended for play.
Goku (Super) Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken
- Uses Goku (Super) Super Saiyan Blue Moveset.
- No Super Attacks.
- No aesthetic changes.
- Uses the same Ki effects of Goku (Super) Super Saiyan Blue while using the "Kaioken" skill.
- Has a unique portrait and a unique name, both not used anywhere else in the game.
Vegeta (Super) Super Saiyan Blue Evolved
- Uses Vegeta (Super) Super Saiyan Blue Moveset.
- No Super Attacks.
- No aesthetic changes.
- Uses the same Ki effects of Vegeta (Super) Super Saiyan Blue while using the "Limits?! I break them!" skill.
- Has a unique portrait and a unique name, both not used anywhere else in the game.
Great Ape
Most of the NPC / Cutscene characters can be forced to be selected as playable characters via RAM editing, and they will have a placeholder moveset, usually Goku (Z - Early)'s one, and use Goku (Z - Mid) Super Saiyan thumbnail if they lack one. However, Great Ape stands out from other NPCs because it has a few oddities:
- The character select screen treats Great Ape as a giant character, using the same "highlight" animation, as if it was meant to appear in the character selection screen. This is not the case for other giant NPCs such as Giant Ribrianne.
- Has a placeholder thumbnail image, which says "Ch_Thumb 0003_51", not used anywhere else (not even with other NPCs).
- Has Goku (Super) Base Form's moveset. This coupled with his giant size causes hitbox problems in battle.
- Can transform into Goku (Super) Super Saiyan Blue... and none of the other forms possessed by that character.
Unused NPC Thumbnails
While NPCs aren't playable, a small amount of them can be selected as Guest characters in Custom Battle Mode, which allows them to participate in user-made cutscenes. The following NPCs all have a thumbnail despite not being featured in that mode. This can possibly indicate that they were intended to be selectable as Guest characters, but ended up being cut.
- King Kai
- Old Kai
- Kid Pilaf
- Kid Shu
- Kid Mai
- Shin
- Oolong
- Kid Gohan (Chinese Dress)
- Kami
- Belmod
Story Mode Only Variants
These characters are playable and/or can be faced only during story mode. There are some characters whose variants only consist of a name change for plot reasons (i.e. there is a Sword Trunks variation called "Mysterious Man" that's used for Frieza's story mode, and it's completely identical to regular Sword Trunks) which will not be included in this list.

- Used in Goku's story mode.
- Uses Goku (Z - Mid) Super Saiyan moveset.
- Kamehameha is replaced with Super Energy Wave Combo

- Has a unique name not used anywhere else in the game, since Goku (Z - Early) cannot transform into a Super Saiyan.
Goku (Z - Mid) Super Saiyan - No Angry Kamehameha
- Used in Goku's story mode.
- Uses Goku (Z - Mid) Super Saiyan moveset.
- Kamehameha is replaced with Super Energy Wave Combo
- Angry Kamehameha is replaced with Super Kamehameha.
- Completely identical to the previous Goku, with same moveset changes, with the only modification being renamed to Goku (Z - Mid) Super Saiyan.
Gohan (Teen) Super Saiyan 2 - No Father-Son Kamehameha
- Used in Gohan's story mode.
- Uses Gohan (Teen) Super Saiyan 2 Moveset.

Region-Exclusive Accessories
These items can only be obtained with the "Victory Pack", a DLC that as of October 2024 has been distributed only through Shonen V-Jump, a Japan-exclusive magazine. Western players can still access the DLC by buying a digital version of said magazine on a Japanese website. The code is compatible with any version of the game.
- PlayStation users will need a Japanese account because the Store is region locked, and compatibility between different accounts is not guaranteed.
- Xbox users will need to change their Microsoft account settings in order to access the Japanese store, but after that they can normally claim this DLC.
- Steam users can claim the code without any particular setup.
V-Jump Aura
This customization item grants the user a V-shaped aura, in reference to the name of the magazine the DLC is gifted with. It can be equipped by Saiyans or half-blooded Saiyans.
Victory Power
Ability Item. Slightly raises the power of Blast and Ultimate Blast Attacks. Slightly raises Ki recovery after performing a rush attack.
