Debug Mode

Enter DEBDE DEBDA as a password, and press Run+I to confirm it. A password error message will appear. Ignore it and start the game, with the following functions now activated:

  • The player has max stats.
  • The player has unlimited magic.
  • The player has 65535 HP. This is higher than your Max HP, so beware of healing items.
  • The player can walk through walls and other obstacles.
  • Walking on the 16 bushes in front of the starting castle will warp the player to various locations. This is the level select feature.
  • Walking on the throne after giving the king the Ora stone will activate the secret ending.

Secret Message

Enter NECAA AAAAA as a password. An error message will appear. Ignore it and start the game as any character EXCEPT Bard or Harmet. Go to the harmit's house (it's on the far right of the village), and see the secret message: "This is the house of NEC. You are descendant of the Turbo Grafx16. Take care."
