Exoprimal is an online third-person action survival-shooting game where players are grouped into two teams of five, and must compete with each other in "wargames" to defeat incoming swarms of dinosaurs and complete missions to achieve victory before the opposing team does. It requires a linked Capcom ID account to play.

Released on August 16, 2023, alongside Title Update 1 with these changes:
- Adds the Savage Gauntlet mode, as well as Boss Battle missions in the mode.
- Adds 10 Alpha variant exosuits. These Exosuit variants feature weapons that differ from their default counterparts and allow for different playstyles. They can be purchased with BikCoins after increasing the suit level of a default suit to level 20. You can also use Early Unlock Tickets to unlock them:

- Vigilant Alpha: Marksman

- 34 new modules have been added, which can be unlocked by increasing player level and Alpha variant exosuit level.
- New items for the following categories can be obtained from War Chests:
- New exosuit skins, weapon skins, decals, charms, stamps, emotes, emblems, and player icon backgrounds can be obtained from War Chests.
- New medals and awards have been added, and the design for some awards have been changed.
- Some menus and portions of the UI have been slightly adjusted:
- A respawn timer has been added next to the allied exosuit display in the bottom left of the screen.
- You can now toggle between allied and enemy team members at the results screen that displays after Commendations are awarded.
- You can now check a medal's score and Suit EXP values at the results screen that displays after Commendations are awarded.
- The amount of BikCoins granted by a Suit Level reward is now visible at the Exosuit Status screen in the Hangar.
- The slot number corresponding to a currently equipped module is now displayed on the module list at the Rigs & Module screen in the Hangar.
- These bug fixes and balance adjustments were made:
- An issue was detected in Savage Gauntlet where some players experienced a discrepancy between the rank displayed in the game and the rewards granted to some players whose clear times are very close to the cutoff time for a given rank. The rank awards to any players who experienced this bug at the rewards screen during Trials 1–3 were later redistributed.
- The following adjustments were made to the Exosuits:
- Fixed a bug where using Deadeye's standard attack right after using the Thrust Attack ability would occasionally result in projectiles firing at a location other than where players were aiming.
- Fixed a bug where Barrage's Skipbomber projectiles would occasionally pass through Krieger's Dome Shield under certain conditions.
- Fixed a bug where players would eliminate themselves with damage from Triple Threat.
- Fixed a bug where Stun Grenade would occasionally deal two hits to large dinosaurs.
- Fixed a bug where enemies using Roadblock's Ballistic Wall or the Shield rig would not be stunned if they were hit by the Stun Grenade from behind.
- Fixed a bug where players would occasionally receive the Flapjack medal twice when burning and flipping over an Ankylosaurus.
- Fixed a bug where enemies using Roadblock's Ballistic Wall or the Shield rig would not be frozen if they were hit by Vigilant's Frost Lock from behind.
- Fixed a bug where, under certain conditions, Roadblock's Storm Drive would not kill Pteranodons despite dealing damage to them.
- Fixed a number of bugs that occurred when Skywave activated De-Synchronize while Roadblock's Storm Drive was active.
- Made Krieger's Todesregen laser pointer more visible so that players can tell whether it is hitting the ground.
- Fixed a bug where the impact point of Todesregen projectiles would differ greatly from the location the laser was pointed at.
- Fixed a bug where, under certain conditions, Murasame's Crescent Moon would not hit some small dinosaurs.
- Fixed a bug where Murasame would occasionally become locked in the Vajra Counter stance and unable to sprint.
- Fixed a bug that occurred in network environments with limited bandwidth where Witchdoctor's Repair Field effect would not activate even though its number of uses would be reduced.
- Fixed a bug where attacks from Skywave's Aether Lance would only damage one enemy in a group of enemies clustered together.
- Fixed a bug where using the Catapult rig during Air Supremacy prevented Skywave from returning to Air Supremacy.
- Fixed a bug where Nimbus could not damage enemies when attacking while near the enemy Data Key.
- The following bug fixes were made to the Modules:
- Fixed a bug where Barrage's B - Boost Grenade module did not properly increase Skipbomber damage dealt to some enemies.
- Fixed a bug where Stinger Shot's cooldown time would not be reduced when killing multiple hostile exofighters with a single Stinger Shot while Vigilant's V- Finishing Streak module is equipped.
- These other in-game bugs were fixed:
- Fixed a bug where damage values would not display when damaging Data Keys, Uplinks, or other enemy assets while controlling a Carnotaurus via a Dominator.
- Fixed a bug where using the Charge attack while controlling a Carnotaurus with a Dominator would occasionally cause damage values to display twice.
- Fixed a bug where players could occasionally pass through Krieger's Dome Shield while controlling a Carnotaurus with the Dominator.
- Fixed a bug where damage values would not display when attacking enemy Crafts with a Dominator.
- The following bug fixes were made to the dinosaur enemies:
- Fixed a bug where Pteranodons appearing from vortexes would occasionally take zero damage from Vigilant's Railgun Charge.
- Fixed a bug where the Neo Ankylosaurus would occasionally take zero damage from attacks that hit its tail.
- Fixed a bug where the Neo Ankylosaurus would not be downed even after two of its growths had been destroyed.
- Fixed a bug where the T. Rex's Roar ability would cause Frost Lock and Stun Grenade projectiles to explode earlier than intended.
- The following bug fixes and adjustments were made to the game modes:
- Fixed a bug that affected the way the Omega Hammer carrier icon was displayed to players controlling a Dominator in Omega Charge.
- Fixed a bug where unexpected chat log behavior would occur when players placed a marker on a hostile exofighter that had just been marked by another player.
- Fixed a bug where behavior for placing markers differed between the Firing Range and actual matches.
- The following bug fixes and adjustments were made to the UI:
- Fixed a bug where damage value displays for some weapons overlapped with one another.
- Fixed a bug where an ally's username would briefly appear when relenquishing control of a Dominator even though the Display Ally Name option was set to Hide.
- A number of other, smaller bugs have also been fixed.
Ver. 1.20
Released on October 18, 2023, alongside Title Update 2 with these changes:
- The following Exosuits have been added:
- Season 2 Survival Pass Premium Tier set of 19 alternate Exosuit skins.
- Halloween and Holliday campaign variants of the 10 default Exosuits.
- Street Fighter 6 collaboration Exosuit skins, decals, charms, and emotes based on Ryu, Guile and Chun-Li for Deadeye, Zephyr and Vigilant. Guile and Chun-Li's sets of items are paid DLC, while Ryu's set of items can be unlocked in-game by completing Dino Survival a number of times after the collaboration begins.
- The available Premium Tier content for Season 2 was added, consisting of 10 weapon skins, 3 decals, 4 emotes, 2 Stamps, 7 player tag emblems and 4 player tag backgrounds.
- The Ocean Platform stage map has been added.
- A new Final Mission, Escape has been added to Dino Survival.
- Two new Rigs were added, Edge Strike and Drone. These rigs can be purchased with BikCoins once players have reached the required player level.
- New Modules have been added, Anti-Swarm Module and Magnum Module.
- Durban has been added to Savage Gauntlet's Boss Battles.
- Battle Records have been added, letting you view various play data. In the Database tab of the main menu, you can view Play Time, Victories, MVP Awards, Defeated Dinosaur Count, wargame and exosuit statistics such as craft placement counts, and other rig-related play data.
- New rewards have been added to the War Chest.
- New medals and awards have been added.
- Some menus and portions of the UI have been slightly adjusted:
- An option has been added for all platforms to replace other player usernames with anonymous ones.
- Exosuit skin and weapon skin preview screens will display the names of the exosuits that can equip them.
- A shortcut button was added to change the page on the Career Player Level and Survival Pass screens.
- All fighter names will be displayed when cooperating with enemy teams in missions.
- The icon that displays where enemy exofighters have been knocked out has been adjusted, making it easier to see.
- The following adjustments were made to the Exosuits:
- Fixed a bug for Deadeye α where bullets could fly significantly outside of the reticle when firing a shotgun at enemies from a close-rage.
- Fixed a bug for Vigilant α where the controller sensitivity while using the 3x scope was too high. The sensitivity is now the same as default Vigilant.
- Fixed a bug for Vigilant α where fired bullets would not be displayed on other players' screens if they were over 120m away.
- Fixed a bug for Krieger where the hit detection of its Stunlock Missile could be wrong based on the shooting player and hit player.
- Corrected errors in the effect description for Krieger α's A-40 Pulverizer.
- Corrected errors in the effect description for Witchdoctor α's Feed.
- The following bug fixes were made to the Modules:
- Corrected errors in the Lv2 effect descriptions for the Base Module and Conservation Module.
- Corrected errors in the effect description for Vigilant Module V - Hailstorm.
- Corrected errors in the Lv3 effect description for Vigilant Module V - Hailstorm.
- Corrected errors in the effect description for Nimbus α Module N02-SG Mastery.
- These other in-game bugs were fixed:
- Fixed a bug where the following medals could not be obtained when knocking out a hostile exofighter off of the field with a Dominator Large Dinosaur. The affected medals are Suit Hunter, Double Domination, Three Course Meal, Suit Eater, Rampage and Apex Predator.
- Fixed a bug related to High End series equipment where the scores of the default suits and variant suits were not calculated as part of the Exceptional Feats.
- The following bug fixes were made to the dinosaur enemies:
- Fixed a bug where defense up and damage reduction effects were not applied in response to Umbral Neosaur’s attacks.
- Adjustments have been made to the AI routines for Pteranodon's new actions such as Stone Toss.
- Fixed a bug that occurred when Krieger’s Dome Shield is used to defend against a massive Pteranodon swarm and damage dealt to frightened Pteranodons was massively increased.
- The following bug fixes and adjustments were made to the game modes:
- Adjustments were made to increase the types of missions at the beginning of the game, including Final Missions.
- Adjustments were made to increase the types of dinosaurs that appear at the beginning of the game.
- Adjustments were made so special missions such as Trial Combat 0414 are more likely to appear than at present.
- With the addition of Escape, adjustements were made to the draw rates for Final Missions.
- The following bug fixes and adjustments were made to the UI:
- Fixed a bug where the summoned large dinosaur would not sometimes appear on the radar when the enemy team activated a Dominator.
- Fixed a bug where certain decals displayed the wrong raraity when active.
- The display position of such decals will be changed accordingly.
- Unintended names for some exosuit skins have been changed.
- Typographical errors in the game text have been fixed.
- A number of other, smaller bugs have also been fixed.
Ver. 1.30
Released on January 18, 2024, alongside Title Update 3 with these changes:
- The following Exosuits have been added:
- Season 3 Survival Pass Premium Tier set of 19 alternate Exosuit skins.
- New Year and Chocolate campaign variants of the 10 default Exosuits.
- Monster Hunter collaboration Exosuit skins, decals, charms, and emotes based on hunter armors for Rathalos, Nergigante, Kirin and Rajang for Murasame, Barrage, Skywave and Roadblock. The Kirin, Nergigante and Rajang sets of items are paid DLC, while the Rathalos armour set of items can be unlocked in-game after the collab begins. During it, monster tracks will appear in Dino Survival. Gathering these tracks that appear on the field may even trigger a special collaborative mission to defeat Rathalos. Each time you play this collab mission, you will obtain special cosmetic items as rewards.
- Adds 4 Beta variant Exosuits; Deadeye β: Energy MG, Barrage β: Fire Spray, Roadblock β: Counter Shield and Skywave β: Lifeline. The weapons equipped to these Beta variants sport different attributes from the conventional exosuits and can be purchased with BikCoins once the Alpha variant series suit reaches level 10.
- The available Premium Tier content for Season 3 was added, consisting of 10 weapon skins, 3 decals, 4 emotes, 2 Stamps, 7 player tag emblems and 4 player tag backgrounds.
- The Jungle stage map has been added.
- A new Final Mission, Eliminate the Neo Triceratops has been added to Dino Survival.
- A new Rig, Stealth was added.
- New Modules have been added, Hi-Xol Reusable Module, Durban Module, D - Compact Grenade, and S - Graviton Echo, among others. The new Base and Action Modules change how the default and Alpha Variant series Exosuits do battle. They are added to Player Level Rewards and Beta Variant Series Suit Level Rewards.
- New rewards have been added to the War Chest.
- New medals and awards have been added.
- Some menus and portions of the UI have been slightly adjusted.
- A button that displays Suit Details such as Active Skills and the like has been added to the Suit Status screen and Rig/Module screens.
- A function has been added that lists the names and unlock requirements for awards currently equipped to award plates seen on the player list of the results screen, buddy player information, etc.
- The following adjustments were made to the Exosuits:
- Fixed a bug where Krieger's Stunlock Missile would not inflict damage or paralyze small dinosaurs after a direct attack.
- Fixed a bug on PlayStation 5 where the firing sound effects of ally Witchdoctor α players would continue to play.
- Fixed a bug where Witchdoctor's Feed would not properly restore energy after being used on a small dinosaur, which could lead to unintended issues.
- These other bugs were fixed:
- Fixed a bug where the Repairs EX medal could only be obtained with the recovery skill of either Witchdoctor or Witchdoctor α.
- Fixed a bug where the High-End Skywave award could not be obtained with Skywave α.
- Adjustments have been made in Dino Survival so that Missions and Dino Swarms matching the story progression will more readily appear, and greater priority will be given to new fields based on story progression.
- Adjustments have been made in Dino Survival to the matching rate of select missions that occur only in the story.
- Bots will be equipped with modules based on the situation.
- Restrictions will be placed on players who leave in the middle of a Savage Gauntlet.
- If a player leaves in the middle of the Savage Gauntlet, a restriction will be placed upon the next matching.
- If this restriction is active, a countdown timer will be displayed, during which, you will be unable to initiate Savage Gauntlet matching.
- Matching for a Savage Gauntlet will not start if a buddy member has a time limit.
- No restrictions will be placed upon you if you leave midway after another player has left.
- If the 5 players are buddies, there are no restrictions placed for leaving midway.
- The following bug fixes and adjustments were made to the UI:
- Fixed a bug where damage would sometimes be displayed incorrectly when a small dinosaur received multiple attacks in the same frame.
- Typos in the game text have been fixed.
- Other smaller bugs have also been fixed.
